Taking up drawing again little by little. [ESP|ENG]
Saludos a la comunidad de Sketchbook, me llamo Pau y esta es la primera vez que posteo aquí.
Greetings to the Sketchbook community, my name is Pau and this is my first time posting here.
Llevo mucho tiempo queriendo subir algunos dibujos, pero por varias razones no me atrevía. Una de esas razones es que desde hace unos 4 años dejé de pintar y dibujar, ya he hablado de eso antes, pero en resumen: todo fue por un bloqueo artístico.
I've been wanting to upload some drawings for a long time, but for several reasons I didn't dare. One of those reasons is that since about 4 years ago I stopped painting and drawing, I've talked about that before, but in short: it was all because of an artistic block.
Dibujar no es algo que se olvide, pero si se puede perder la pasión por ello. Muchas veces he sentido que ya no es para mi y eso me entristece.
Drawing is not something to forget, but you can lose the passion for it. Many times I have felt that it is no longer for me and that saddens me.
Así que he decidido retomarlo poco a poco. No será un trabajo fácil, ya que no se puede forzar a las musas jajaja pero estoy segura de que conseguiré reencontrarme en el camino.
So I have decided to take it up little by little. It won't be easy work, since you can't force the muses hahaha but I'm sure I'll manage to find myself again along the way.

Y este ha sido el trabajo final.
Al principio se nota el cuidado del trazo e intenté hacer todo lo más "bonito" posible, pero a medida que avanzaba, recordaba lo que realmente me gusta en un dibujo: la espontaneidad, lo rústico, combinar texturas como la de las acuarelas con las crayolas, transmitir emociones y conectar con nuestro lado humano.
Esa soy yo y estoy muy feliz con este resultado, es un pequeño paso.
And this has been the final work.
At the beginning you can see the care of the stroke and I tried to make everything as "pretty" as possible, but as I progressed, I remembered what I really like in a drawing: spontaneity, the rustic, combining textures such as watercolors with crayons, transmitting emotions and connecting with our human side.
That's me and I'm very happy with this result, it's a small step.
Welcome, I hope you do and post more work, I quite like it in the complexities it brings my mind to....four years is a long time to stop...but as you say, you do not lose the skill.
