I really like your tree house, is it more practical to make them there? I too am playing The Forest together with a friend and we are relatively "new". Are the stones that say S.O.S. really good for anything? We built it in a random place too, but I highly doubt anyone will come to our rescue XDDDD.

Tree houses are amazing because the cannibals don't seem to try climbing up. They make for an incredible place to go hid at night.
I've not found any use for the SOS either to be honest. I had a ton of stone building up so I just threw one on an exposed area in case it could benefit me. I have a feeling it's more or less cosmetic.
I've not really made it past the first 5 days or so. The game is still extremely new to me. I only found out about the treehouse because someone told @katikat and I while we were streaming it the other day.

If I remember correctly (I watched a lot of The Forest gameplays back in the days) some cannibals can climb trees, but I'm not sure if they can enter houses. I'll tell @rishahp to try to make one next time we play just bc they look cool XD
Oh well, I guess the SOS thing is just useless.
The game gets harder the more days go by and I know there is a point where mutants start to spawn. The truth is that it's quite exciting despite being a survival horror, I already want to see how an 8-legged mutant starts chasing me around the island haha.

The S.O.S. signal is useless, hehe, it's more aesthetic than anything else, although I still think that there is a very big easter egg, I keep thinking about that plane I saw flying while we were playing.
