Hi all! I know, I know... It's 19th already and I'm behind schedule... anyway, I'm catching up, hopefully next days I'll have more time to draw the next words.
So, today I want to show you what I've done for spirit, fan, watch, pressure and pick.
¡Hola a todos! Ya sé... ya es día 19 y ya me retrasé... en fin, estoy poniéndome al corriente, espero tener más tiempo los próximos días para dibujar las siguientes palabras.
Así que, hoy quiero mostrarles lo que he dibujado para espíritu, fan (ventilador, abanico, fanático), reloj (o también observar), presión y elegir (o recoger, pico, picar... pick tiene varios significados :S)
SPIRIT
For spirit, since I read the word on the list I imagined colors, representing everyone's wild and calm spirit all within.
Para espíritu, desde que leí la palabra en la lista me imaginé colores, representando el espíritu salvaje y calmado que todos llevamos dentro.
FAN
I really like the movie called Misery, I really like Kathy Bates's acting in this one, so when I read fan I immediately thought of her famous quote from that movie: "I'm your biggest fan" ... and just to have fun I added the little fan over her sledgehammer.
Me gusta mucho la película de "Misery", me encanta la actuación de Kathy Bates en ella, así que cuando leí fan inmediatamente pensé en su famosa línea de esa película: "Soy su más grande admiradora (fan)"... y solo por diversión añadí el pequeño ventilador (fan) sobre su martillo.
WATCH
Years ago, while just walking around at a mall, I saw a clock with a design of its numbers all fallen down, I liked it but didn't have enough money to purchase it back then, and days later when I went back to that store to buy it, the clock was gone ☹️.
Originally I wanted to make a broken watch, with its inner pieces popping out but while drawing it I remembered the clock I could never buy and at least now I have it on a drawing 🤣
Hace años, mientras caminaba en una plaza comercial, vi un reloj con diseño de sus números caídos, me gustó pero no tenía suficiente dinero para comprarlo en ese entonces, días después cuando regresé a adquirirlo el reloj ya no estaba ☹️.
Originalmente quería dibujar un reloj (watch) con sus piezas botando pero mientras lo dibujaba recordé el reloj que nunca pude comprar y al menos ahora lo poseo en dibujo 🤣
PRESSURE
The first thing I thought about with pressure was the amount of work I had around that date, but I was sleepy to draw a stressed person under pressure... I thought some more and a diamond came into mind, just because a diamond comes from pure carbon going through extreme pressure and heat.
Lo primero que pensé con presión fue la cantidad de trabajo que tenía que hacer por esa fecha, pero tenía sueño para dibujar una persona estresada bajo presión... pensé un poco más y me vino a la mente un diamante, solo porque un diamante sale de carbón puro que atraviesa presión y calor extremos.
PICK
"The claaaaaw"... the first draw I made was of a toothpick but it was really simple... basically just a line 😅 then I wanted to draw someone picking a pet but toys are easier to draw than animals so this draw was the result... and yeah, as many people I just watched The Squid Game...
"La gaaaarra"... el primer dibujo que hice fue de un palillo de dientes (toothpick) pero era muy simple... básicamente solo una línea 😅 luego quería dibujar a alguien eligiendo (picking) una mascota pero los juguetes son más fácil de dibujar que los animales asi que este dibujo fue el resultado... y sí, como mucha gente recientemente apenas ví El Juego del Calamar...
