Some beautiful sights here today.

But first I will show you this beautiful buck.

Come, come, I whispered, come please and let me pat you!

We had a strong cold wind going again today, coming from the cold water of the Atlantic ocean, but thankfully the sun was out.
So a quick stop off at a wine farm delivered these shots to my camera.
As most of you know I am addicted to nature and nary a day goes by that I do not pop up in the bush somewhere,
These shots however were taken in a cultured nature setting.

So, here it looked like the buck was thinking about my offer for a petting.

And look what the "Bontebok" thought about my kind offer hahaha.

Now let's have a look at some other beauties on this farm.

I loved how the glass on the water fountain reflected the mountains and the clouds.

Some ask if my glass is half full, or half empty.
Nope, my glass is brimfull every day.

These two photos below will show you how the character of the glass fountain enhances the nature scenes.

Oh yes, there are some beautiful wine estates in this area and I have posted about this particular one before. They also have the customary a la carte restaurants, kiddies rides, botanical gardens and the original historic farmhouse as a musuem. Royalty and presidents have visited here over time so if you ever visit the Cape, please make sure that you have this wine estate on your bucket list.

Fantastic reflection on the glass bowl... even from afar!

Thank you and yes the "Bontebok" is certainly lovely.
That giant glass fascinated me and the reflections were great. It was erected near the entrance to one of the famous restaurants on the farm.

It amazes me that the reflections are visible even from afar!
What's the name of the famous restaurant? Just curious! Hehehe 😁

The names of the restaurants on the farm is mentioned in the link on the post.
They have a large and modern wine tasting hall and the restaurant is attached to it.
Vergelegen wine estate has a visitors count of 100,000 tourists per year.
Very popular.

100,00o tourists a year!
Many traveling to that place... oh, local tourist included!
Napa Valley, which is not far from here receives 3.85 M visitors a year.

That Napa Vallry sounds great indeed, but this is only one farm and I don't know what the overall tourist count is. What I do know is that they put a friend of ours in charge of developing a wine corridor that will link all of the wine and fruit farms to a touring route for visitors.
There are several poor shanty towns along the proposed route and that's where @papilloncharity takes part, as we will give the people skills training to operate their own small businesses along the route.
