Photos for a website. 15 and I need the best 5.

A friend asked me for 5 nature photos for his website.

A call for help! I have a problem here as a professional friend requested 5 nature photos for his website.

Now I can send him all of these, but the thought came to me to ask on Hive, as then I can get a better idea of which 5 photos I should give him.
Note that I don't charge him as it's free, but I don't want to give him what I like, as all of our tastes are different.
So I will send the 5 most popular ones according to the popular likes on Hive.

So, yes some difficult choices here and I have no idea what to do or what to give him, as I love all of the photos.

If I could count on my followers here I would have a heap of replies to compare, but that's an empty dream.
So I am counting on you that read this to help.
Maybe no one will, but I always have hope.

And That's All Friends!

Don't worry, Zac, I'll help you. With the expression of so much hope, how could I resist? Now, ALL these photos are great, so this was a bit of a difficult task. Through a process of elimination, I arrived at my choice below. These are my favorites:

I particularly like 6, 8, 10, 11 & 14

With the two protea flowers I went for 11 over 2 as it was sharper and better in my book. I loved the mountain pics too but being so far away they were not as detailed I thought and so chose the sharpest poppiest pics! :OD

Good to get many eyes, now to confuse you more....

1 - 5 - 10 - 11 - 15

Don't get me wrong I adore Squirry but not sure on a wildlife site being in a garden, I know nature is everywhere outdoors...

!LUV for Squirry
!WINE to oil the...., Oh well whatever, you sure to make the right decision....

No confusion Lady Joan, as I will simply choose thev numbers that appear most frequently in thec replies.

I saw in a weather warning that you guys in KZN were headed to 40C today, but that's hard to believe, as we are not in full summer yet?

Yep, Squirry doesn't belong in there, but my love for her put it in.

!LUV also to you.

Wine I don't have and even though we live in the winelands I haven't drank one drop of wine.
Years ago it would have been a different story hahaha.

Putting out to vote always a fun venture for members who lend a hand.

We have had sudden heat, like playing game sudden death! If this is the start of summer I will be well hidden!

!WINE there are non-alcoholic wines or grape juice which is refreshing too....

Yes and I posted in the hope that I would get one or two replies, but now I have enough to make a calculated guess.

Yep and right now the rain is pouring down here. We are in winter rainfall area and now the rain is still falling in the 7th month. So yay, were are missing one month of summer.
Summer is torture time for me as my skin breaks out with those little fiery itching hives, so I will again have to wear protective clothing that makes one sweat like a baboon on heat.

Hahaha !WINE is cool as long as it's a token. Let's hope my one works again.

Popularity guess will make an interesting decision. Some cooler weather has eventually arrived after sweltering hot week.

Yup my sister is contemplating life down here from Jo'burg, very afraid of skin condition suffering similar fiery little itch attacks, I suggested try two months Feb/March and then decide. Hot and humid makes anyone miserable.

Oh yes and I am glad that I can comapare a few replies. Next week we are also still a bit cool, exept for one 33C day. Soon the great heat will start.

I use cortizone cream and pills, as that is all that helps to manage those attacks. Started at my hands and now also on my body.
It was that humidity that killed me when we worked on the lines there and no, I can never live in KZN.
Hope that she will be able to handle it, but I think that it takes a long time to get used to it.

Sitting in slops, shorts and T-shirt at 17 deg C enjoying every minute with windows open to enjoy the birds singing in the light rain right now, cool till Wednesday when it pumps up again.

Doubt my sister will adapt to this humidity, it may be opportune moment to discuss moving off the coast. She has used cortisone creams, injections and has suffered since her early forties.

Wow! For a change we have almost the same weather as also 17C here, but the rain stopped at 3pm.
Overnight it should rain again like last night.

Do you mean an opportune time for you guys to move away from the coast ?
My itchy stuff started in 2012, so by now I am used to using the stuff. We discovered a new cream that our doctor told us about and it is called "El Zart" that I use to kill the spors as soon as they start to appear and it works.

!BEER
Imagine that and it is over the counter stuff in tubes.

Will have to take into consideration as time goes to make move once sons are settled/sorted out, house will be too much when they leave. Either move inland slightly or another province, preferably another province for change in climate. Time will tell....

Thanks for the name of cream will pass on.

Ah, they call it downsizing and we have lived in downsized places all along.
Even in this "3 bedroomed" cottage where the 3rd bedroom is a glorified little store room and used as such by us.
It's only the two of us, so we turned the 2nd room into a study where we both work.

Climate is an important part to consider, but we don't have many areas with ideal climate conditions.
Everywhere is cold enough in winter, but way too hot in summer and they are saying that the heat will gradually keep on increasing over the years.

With brain drain in the country one has to be cautious moving into country still require doctors and small hospital relatively close. Being out there finding the dream place to live makes one vulnerable to being robbed, raped or murdered not that it is not happening daily in suburbs.

Not so much climate, more about running water and electricity, municipalities have robbed people of decent living conditions, no health facilities, high crime, scorched earth in any terminology.

Smile, be happy! Positive still to the end....

Oh yes, you are right as medical facilities is a priority. Decent ones that is.
We live right opposite a big Mediclinic hospital with many specialist doctors rooms.
In fact we saw one there this morning to check my blood circulation in preparation for the operation at the same hospital.

As for the crime, onr cannot escape it as it's all over. I saw today that a bankrupt municipality gave their staff a 161% salary increase. So there's no money for service delivery.
Scorched earth indeed.

Another day another dawn, now killing each other with municipal elections coming up.

No use having medic facilities if we cannot afford them, specialists allowed to charge 500% plus, go figure what happens in municipal offices, if only we were so lucky.... Now pay your taxes expect nothing in return!

!WINE once a day to keep the doctor away! 😌

As landscape photographer the photos I choose are 3, 5, 10, 14 and 15.
I would have taken the squirrel if it would have been in a tree pretending it's somewhere in the wilderness 😉

Thank you for the numbers and the cute explanation Hannes and I think a few others agree with your findings.
I will see tomorrow which numbers feature frequently and those are the numbers that I will send.

Cheers and thanks.

It also depends on the type of website they are needed for. Maybe the birds would suit better or no animals at all.

I will only see it when it's done and I think that he wants to create a calming effect on his website.
He is dealing with people in the pain fields.

Cheers and thanks.

Thank you Hannes and that's the reason why I included the squirrels, because they have a calming effect on adults and children. I should have stated that somehow in the post.

Cheers and thanks.

What one likes in a photo is so personal @papilloncharity, and while I like them all I managed to whittle them down to my 'best' 5. 1, 2,7, 8, 11.
Thank you for the fun experience.

Oh yes Lady Angie, one does indeedc have a personal bond with one's photos, but that is exactly why I put them out here, as we are all so different.
So if I have an oversight of other likes it will make it easier for me to decide.

Thank you for your participation and I am glad that you had some fun.
