Friday and our Squirrels.

For some reason I love to post our squirrels on a Friday.

How's it cuzzy, why are you limping? he asked as I sprained my bad knee yesterday.

So I hobbled along after giving him a nut and telling him that I am fine.
I struggle to walk on uneven ground and especially on down slopes as my left knee meets bone to bone and sharp pains shoot up on my leg.
Thankfully they invented something new on the medical front to keep the two bones seperated and I will have it fixed as soon as the specialist returns from holiday.
But enough about me and let's look at the squirrels.

I took the photos late afternoon as you can see here that the afternoon clouds have blanketed the mountains.

Now tell me if you can see both of the terrible twins here?
044.jpg

Drat, I was too late on the button to catch the dove that flew closely over the top of him, but look at his fancy squat.
Almost all of his feet in a row.
035.jpg

Now to show you the effects of our constant wind as it sliced his tail open.

Did I tell you about the wind? This Egyption goose will give you a better idea as it sat in the late sun.

Finally a shot here of our moon and it will again be a full moon in a few days time. I hope that the sky will stay clear so that I can get some nice full moon shots to show you.

By now our Friday is almost over, but we wish all a happy Friday that are behind our South African time. I Know that the Aussies are 7-9 hours ahead of us and they are already in the early morning Saturday times. I have some good friends there and that's why I placed my first post at 12 noon in order to also wish them.

In any case, we hope that you have enjoyed the pictures of our wild squirrel family.

And That's All Friends.

We like them being behind, its all part of the rivalry.

Or was...we are all like broken gimps these days, in both countries.

The way that I have it is that Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne are all 8 hours ahead of South Africa.

Broken gimps is a suitable expression methinks.

And we are 3 hours ahead of them, so nearly half a day ahead of you!

What has been happening? Rain...

Brag, brag ,brag at least we are a half a day behind you so that I can see the mistakes that you made and avoid them hahaha.

Yep, rain here until 10am and then we were out as you will see in my last post.

Cheers and !BEER

Your squirrels are so much fun :)

I do hope your operation is a huge success

Thank you my friend and it was not an operation, but rather a transfer from a drip into my veins. It took one hour to complete and it was successful.
Thank you for the care.

New hairdo for Squirry and Goose, more repairs and maintenance on the cards for you to walk easier soon....

Life goes on and Aussies might be ahead or are they behind? Wait till the fat lady sings... later!

Oh yes, told today that when I hit 70, I won't be able to walk anymore.
Knee replacement is an urgent must.
Thankfully only on the bad leg.

Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra are all 8 hours ahead of South Africa.

Who know what will work properly by age 70, wait and see! Hope replacement is done soon to get you more mobile.

Yup 8 hours... and they gave us a good hiding in rugby yesterday, perhaps our Springboks were still on African Time LOL!

I can only hope to get to 70 at the rate that I am going now.

Shame, I suppose the All Blacks are licking their lips.
