A mix of birds.

First up are two doves, an antenna and the moon.

Just some ordinary photos here today and I caught the scene above just in time.

There is so much talk on hive about the bear and the bull markets that it makes one's head spin, so I simply stay out of it and continue with the two posts that I do every day. That and the engagements take all of the time that I have to spend on hive, so I just continue in my normal way. One thing that I know is that what comes up must come down, and what goes down must come up. A simple argument, but that's more than good enough for me.
In any case, let's look at the birds.

The two photos below are any big predator bird's worry. The crows continue to patrol the skies in the areas, and beware any big bird that comes in to look for some prey.

This is what we call a "Jackie-hanger" and its a Fiscal Shrike.

They are not popular birds because they catch small baby birds and hang them up on the wire to dry before they eat them.
Here below, he was sitting on a termite heap.

That one flyer came in late for the dove's annual general meeting.

We are blessed with many bird species in the Western Cape province. And whenever we go out there are some kinds of birds that the eye can immediately see. Winter is starting and only the resident birds will stay here, as the sun lovers simply put their jackets on and go to the hotter countries.
Rain has been slow to arrive, and like some of you know we are waiting for the arrival of the flamingo tribes.
Such is life here and I hope you've enjoyed the post.

And That's All Friends.
