A Hard Day's Night.

As the adrenalin rush starts to dissipate one has to rest.
093.jpg

Oh yes, the girl and the doggies create a relaxing mood in us, but I am here to talk about that beauty at the back.

The title of the post, A Hard Day's Night is actually a song by a band called The Beatles and I thought it apt for this post, as the first line in the lyrics tell us, It's been a hard day's night as I've been working like a dog.
Now we know that a dog get's filled with adrenaline when it get's excited and afterwards they lay around lamely.
Just so it also is with these guys that run around on the ocean at ultra speeds.

Oh, I know that it's not weekend, but I took these photos on a weekend and I thought that THE WEEKEND would be the best community to receive my offering.
Come and have a look.

So, as I stood watching this babe, all thoughts of me at her steer were racing through my mind.
091.jpg

Flipping over the water at speeds that can lift the boat right out of the water.
088.jpg
Of course I duly got permission to take photos, but it seems that these guys are not very talkative to a photographer.
I think that their slogan goes something like this, Don't talk but rather show.
092.jpg

Okay, so while you are looking at the girl with the dogs, I will show you something else that is also interesting.
Look at the right how light in weight the boat's pilot is. Almost like horse racing as the jockeys are also ultra light.
So I guess that we can call these boats racing sea horses.
095.jpg

The next two photos were my idea to show you some beauty of the sea landscapes at this event.
097.jpg

098.jpg

A closer look here at one of the other boats. Definitely can't call it Mello Yellow.
100.jpg

You can see that the boat carriers are built like tanks, so these racers are not little light boats and their motors are specifically designed to match the boat's weight. This is the reason why the boats can reach torpedo speeds.
101.jpg

This is to show you the full set-up when the boat is securely hitched and ready to travel home.
107.jpg

But of course, of priority is to quench the thirst and to calmly discuss the day's escapades.
108_li.jpg

Oh, I almost forgot to show you my favorite boat. Just look how beautiful and streamlined this baby is.
106.jpg

Right, time now for us to leave and to go home for a nice supper. Soft music and a romantic night.
052_li.jpg

Joking as usual and how I wish that I had a car like this :)

That's it and I hope that you have enjoyed the outing. Sorry about the wind and I hope that the sun did not blemish your skin too much. I hope to take you on many more adventures here at home that will leave you with stunning memories.
Thank you for your friendship and your kind demeanor.
Until next time then. Au Revoir.

And That's All Friends!

Thank you and yes, they are fairly light boats, but it still takes 3 hefty and strong guys to carry them.
Glad that you liked the post.

Beautiful boats. Have you ever been to sea with any of them?

Nope, I am too tall and heavy. Only been deep sea fishing on a slow fishing boat and once been on a yacht.
These are indeed the ultimate in speed boats.

Great song - the middle eight is pretty exhilarating, actually.
