A butterfly and a Robber fly.

Greetings and salutations, come and see some South African insects.

096.jpg
This is a small Geranium Bronze (Cacyreus marshalli) on a tired Daisy flower.

Winter is upon us and soon most of the flowers and the butterflies will be gone. I love all four of our seasons and I understand the recycling of nature. During Winter the trees have to sleep, as it is necessary for their re-generation in Spring on order to face the Summer heat. So the trees get undressed in Autumn and after their sleep of Winter, they put new dresses on in Spring. The flowers and many insects follow the same pattern.

Here below is an even smaller Geranium Bronze.
090.JPG

There was another one on this pink geranium flower.
032.JPG

And a closer look at it.
036.JPG

Just a late Autumn leaf to show you some color.
055.JPG

Now, what could this tiny being possibly be?
123.JPG

Ah! Looks like some type of Robber Fly.
125.JPG

Oh yes! It is indeed a Robber Fly that I took on the macro.
I think that it is of the Asilidae family.
127.JPG

Finally, just some orange bells to show you their beauty.
I know that @ewkaw will know what type of succulent it is.
062.JPG

Not many insects around any more, as Winter is slowly starting, but I just thought to bring you these that I found.
I have also found a lonely dragonfly, but I haven't fully downloaded the camera yet as it is getting late here. Nature holds many treasures and I love to search them out.
It takes one's mind off the worries of life.

And That's All Friends.

Whoever is directly controlling the V2K told me to kill myself.
They told me if I killed myself now it would save the lives of countless others.
Saying the longer I wait to kill myself the more people will suffer.

They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years. I know there are many in prison that dont deserve to be there because of this. Your stay in prison will not be fun @battleaxe and friends. People are going to want you dead when they find out what you did. I hope you die a slow painful death. You sick mother fuckers.

Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth?

It's Cotyledon :) The colour of the flowers is very pretty!
I envy you the approaching winter. Here is getting hot and I am not looking forward to it.

And that butterfly looks like the one that killed my pelargoniums by laying eggs on them. Nasty little beast!

Ah! Thank you milady and glad that you liked the colors.
Yes, we also love the cool weather and it is a couple of months out of the blazing African sun.

I read up on it and it is indeed seen as a great pest in Europe. Some Klutz took them from here and introduced them into Europe and the UK , as they were in garden plants. and from there they spread out all over.
Not seen as pests here though.

Of course, I prefer any butterfly to a robberfly, but such close-up images of this bad little robberfly boy look great in my eyes 😀

All insects have their own characters and beauty my friend, even if we don't like some of them 😉

Thank you for appreciating the post 😁

Cheers and tanks.

That's very true and even if I don't want to touch many of them, i love to look at them or take macro photos 😀

You're most welcome, my friend 😊

Oh yes, some of them can get nasty when they are touched, usually with painful results 😥

You are indeed a good friend to have, but I think that I have told you this before 😊

Cheers and thanks.

Lukas must surely be a bit bigger now and you are right, it's time for photos 😉

Likewise my friend 😊

Cheers and thanks.

Don't forget to take a treat with when you ask him, as they are always much friendlier when they agree to a photoshoot. Maybe he will also smile and wink with all of his eyes 😉

Cheers and thanks.

I have just had a look at him and he has become a beautiful and huge spider. I'm working tomorrow, but if it rains on Sunday when I come home, I might make a photo session with the spider instead of taking Spring flower photos 😊

A great idea and I hope that it will rain on Sunday, as Lukas is due for modeling shoot.
I bet that he looks very good my friend 👍

Cheers and thanks.

Bad luck for Lukas, the sun was shining and I went for a walk instead. It's evening now and in a few minutes it will begin to rain. My son is on a ride with his motorbike and he will certainly get wet 🌧️

So Lukas was relaxing while you went out to tire yourself.
Rain is always bad news on a bike as it also caught me many times and especially in winter it can really become very troublesome arriving at work as wet as seal.
I hope that he makes it back safe and sound and wet ☂️

Cheers and thanks.

Yep, Lukas has had a relaxing day, just like I had 😉

The dark clouds moved into another direction, so he made it back home dry.

Sounds like Lukas gets 5 star treatment every day. Someone needs to take him for a walk in the spider park occasionally to keep him fit 🤣 !LOLZ

He is indeed a lucky guy and I think that Mother nature likes him 😉

Cheers and thanks.

Lukas is quite big now and I think you can take him out on a flower or so and if he's not hungry he might sit there and not jump around ... mybe we can leave him out during daytime and he comes back to sleep at home in the evening, just as our son does 😂

Be careful with taking Lukas out to sit on a flower, as jumping spiders go crazy when they see a woman. In two jumps he will be with the lady spider and then you will never see him again. I think that he has a bit of Austrian mountain goat blood in his veins when it comes to women 🤣 !LOLZ

But then again, maybe he meets a girl and you can train both of them to go out in the day and come home at night. Soon you will have many small jumping spiders in the house 😉
At least they are cheaper than grand children 👍

Cheers and thanks.

Just imagine, they are living free and bring their children home to us to give them to spider lovers, for some money of course - we will be millionaires soon 😁

Oh yeah, you can even register your own business selling jumping spiders and maybe call it "PibeTim", "Spider Connoisseurs", as your son will be your partner.
Millions are waiting for you methinks 😛

Cheers and thanks.

I have just calculated that it will take only a few months until we are richer than rich ... if each spider lays 100 eggs and if we keep the first few thousands and start selling their millions of kids ... we need a bigger apartment for the terrariums and hopefully the neighbours don't find out 🤣 !LOLZ

Wow! Imagine that. Millions of kids and you will have to rent a big factory to rig it out with lines breeding ovens to develop the thousands of eggs. I can think that you will have to hire deliver guys on bikes to courier the spiders across the country and also partner with an international delivery company.
It takes money to make money and you can use the van's saving to invest in the business 🤣 !LOLZ

Cheers and thanks.

Well, this sounds like a lot of work and you think I will have to invest my van money? Forget the millions, I want my van and freedom from work 😂 !LOLZ
