Les quiero compartir este lindo y muy cómodo pijama que me hice de una parte de un vestido de mi mamá ☺️.
Ya que en estos días me tocó hacerle a mi hijo shorts y aunque solo soy una principiante en esto de la costura y con mucho respeto a la que si son. Bueno me ha tocado hacerle arreglos a algunos de mi ropa como a la de hijo.

I want to share this cute and very comfortable pajamas that I made from part of my mom's dress ☺️.
Since these days I had to make shorts for my son and although I am only a beginner in this sewing and with great respect to who they are. Well, I have had to make arrangements for some of my clothes, like my son's.

Y si le doy sincera desde hace tiempo hemos aplicado las R en nuestros atuendos, es decir, reciclar, reutilizar...ahora nada se desecha, se restaura, se transforma y le damos vida y utilidad.

And if I'm honest, for a long time we have applied the R's to our outfits, that is, recycle, reuse... now nothing is thrown away, we restore, transform, and we give it life and utility.

Me gustaría hacerlo con una máquina de coser, pero hacerlo a mano también tiene su encanto de mientras no te pinches con la aguja😬, por lo que hay que estar concentrado en lo que hacemos... pero como son piezas pequeñas se hacen rápido y no se lleva mucho tiempo cosiendo.

I would like to do it with a sewing machine, but doing it by hand also has its charm as long as you don't poke yourself with the needle😬, so you have to be focused on what you are doing... but since they are small pieces they are made quickly and it doesn't take a long time to sew.

Cómo les mencioné ahora cuando ve lo la oportunidad de hacer otra cosa con las de piernas de algún pantalón que se corto o en este caso de este vestido que traía doble tela y mi mamá había dejado la parte de adentro y le había quitado está, se la pedí y pensé en hacerme un pijama ancho por la firma que tenía el vestido.

As I mentioned now when I see the opportunity to do something else with the legs of some pants that were cut or in this case with this dress that had double fabric and my mom had left the inside part and had removed it, she I asked for it and I thought about making myself a baggy pajama because of the signature that the dress had.

Para hacerlo tome como patrón un shorts pijama mío, pero solo para tomar el ancho, ya que la tela no estiraba y quería que me quedara bien holgado. Dejando en gran parte los detalles y forma que tenía el vestido 😊. Por eso me quedo como si fuera unas falda pantalón, porque quedó bien ancho en las piernas.

To do it, I took a pajama shorts of mine as a pattern, but only to take the width, since the fabric did not stretch and I wanted it to fit well. Leaving largely the details and shape of the dress 😊. That's why I stay as if it were a pair of culottes, because it was very wide in the legs.

Para hacerlo necesité lo siguiente:

• Un pedazo de tela reciclada.
• Elástica.
• Hilo, aguja y tijera.
• Un shorts de uso como patrón.

To do so I needed the following:

• A piece of recycled fabric.
• Elastic.
• Thread, needle and scissors.
• A shorts to use as a pattern.

⭐ Procedimiento ⭐

• Tome la parte baja del vestido, conservando el ruedo del mismo. Doble la tela, puse el patrón encima y realice el corte de adelante.

• Take the lower part of the dress, keeping the hem of the dress. Fold the fabric, put the pattern on top and make the front cut.

• Para hacer la parte de atrás, puse la tela del lado revés para que me quedará los detalles que traía la tela en la otra pierna y no en el mismo lado.

• To make the back, I put the fabric on the wrong side so that the details that the fabric had on the other leg and not on the same side will remain.

• Teniendo ya las dos partes comencé a coser, primero por los en lados. Y luego por el centro hasta la punta de la entrepierna.
  Después colocando las piezas igual, cosí la entrepiernas.

• Having already the two parts I started to sew, first by the sides. And then down the center to the point of the crotch.
  After placing the pieces in the same way, I sewed the crotch.

• Para hacerle la pretina corte una tira de unos seis centímetros de la misma tela, que luego la doblaría y la cosería para así formar la pretina del pijama.
  Luego con un gancho de pelo y tener la elástica. Enganche el gancho en una de las punta del elástico y lo introduje por dentro de la pretina, por todo el borde. Y teniendo el ancho de mi cintura, cosi las puntas del elástico y corte los sobrantes.

• To make the waistband, cut a strip of about six centimeters of the same fabric, which would then be folded and sewn to form the pajama waistband.
  Then with a hair clip and have the elastic. I hooked the hook on one end of the elastic and inserted it inside the waistband, all the way around the edge. And having the width of my waist, I sewed the ends of the elastic and cut the excess.

Y así de rápido podemos hacernos un pijama nuevo usado😃 reciclando y creando. Podemos decir que hemos adquirido conciencia de lo que tenemos y de lo que podemos hacer.

And that's how fast we can make new used pajamas 😃 by recycling and creating. We can say that we have become aware of what we have and what we can do.
