Vengo a hablarles un poco de una serie que recién estoy terminando de ver.
Es raro, pero la mayoría de las series que digo que no me llaman la atención, cuando verdaderamente me siento a verlas me atrapan de tal manera que no veo más nada, no veo para los lados y me instalo a verla todo el día.
Esta serie es del 2009, a penas yo tenía 10 años y recuerdo cuando la daban en tv yo ni estaba motivada a verla. No fue hasta hace poco que una amiga puso una historia en una red social que me pareció Romántica, y le pregunté cuál serie era y me dijo 'the Vampire diaries, vela es buena"

I'm here to tell you a little bit about a series that I'm just finishing watching.
It's strange, but most of the series that I say they don't call my attention, when I really sit down to watch them, they catch me in such a way that I don't see anything else, I don't look to the sides and I settle down to watch it all day long.
This series is from 2009, I was barely 10 years old and I remember when it was on TV I wasn't even motivated to watch it. It wasn't until recently that a friend of mine posted a story on a social network that I thought was romantic, and I asked her what series it was and she told me 'the Vampire diaries, it's a good show".

No le presté atención al momento, le dije que lo pensaría y no fue hasta después de unas semanas que dije ¿por qué no?. Una vez que vi el primer capítulo wow, te atrapa de una vez y la intriga que te deja es lo más emocionante y es la causa de que te quedes pegado a la pantalla.
I didn't pay attention to it at the time, I said I would think about it and it wasn't until after a few weeks that I said why not. Es una serie sobrenatural, que quiso ir más allá del romance que conocimos en crepúsculo y mostrar la parte violenta, sin embargo, a mi parecer conserva el drama adolescente (que me encanta). Inicia con la historia de Stefan Salvatore, un vampiro que quiere llegar a tener una vida humana normal pero siempre aparece su hermano Damon y ni se imaginarán de lo que es capaz. It is a supernatural series, which wanted to go beyond the romance that we knew in twilight and show the violent part, however, in my opinion it preserves the teenage drama (which I love). It starts with the story of Stefan Salvatore, a vampire who wants to have a normal human life but his brother Damon always appears and you can't even imagine what he is capable of. One brother is selfless, brave and the other selfish, arrogant. A love triangle between the Salvatore brothers and Elena (the most popular girl in town, who is emotionally shattered by the loss of her parents), dramas of witches, werewolves, hunters and hybrids make you be surprised every day with Mystic Falls, the town where this incredible series takes place.

Se impresionarían con cada cosa que sucede en la serie, y también con la cantidad de muertes. Es un drama vampírico que muestra la parte violenta de los vampiros, pero también la humanidad que tienen en su interior y que son capaces de encender y apagar. Al encender su humanidad recuerdan la empatía, sienten el amor.. Al apagarla, destruyen todo a su camino.
Aunque en cada temporada los hermanos vampiros de más de 100 años peleaban, siempre, en el fondo, daban todo el uno por el otro.
Al final, después de tantas rivalidades entre ellos, el amor fraternal es el que triunfa.
They would be impressed with every single thing that happens in the series, and also with the amount of deaths. It's a vampire drama that shows the violent side of vampires, but also the humanity they have inside that they are able to turn on and off. When they turn on their humanity they remember empathy, they feel love... When they turn it off, they destroy everything in their path.
Although in every season the 100+ year old vampire brothers fought, they always, deep down, gave their all for each other.
In the end, after so many rivalries between them, brotherly love is the one that triumphs.

Puedo decir que The Vampire Diaries se convirtió en una de mis series favoritas, lloré, reí, me emocioné, decepcioné e incluso me enamoré del chico malo Damon, pero quien con el avanzar la serie va progresando y lucha cada vez más por ser un mejor hombre.
8 temporadas, sí, demasiadas! Pero el capítulo final de cada una te deja con ganas de ver las demás, incluso cada capítulos deja un cabo suelto que hace que empieces inmediatamente el siguiente. Son 8 temporadas de un sube y baja de emociones, de romances imposibles, de venganza. Hay personajes que llegamos a odiar y al final a amar en cuanto a actuación, parejas que nunca se dieron pero que la tensión entre ellos traspasaba las pantallas. En impresionante como un show de televisión puede atraparte y ocupar tus tardes libres de la mejor manera
I can say that The Vampire Diaries became one of my favorite series, I cried, laughed, got excited, disappointed and even fell in love with the bad boy Damon, but who as the series progresses is progressing and fighting more and more to be a better man.
8 seasons, yes, too many! But the final chapter of each one leaves you wanting to see the others, even each chapter leaves a loose end that makes you immediately start the next one. There are 8 seasons of ups and downs of emotions, impossible romances, revenge. There are characters that we came to hate and in the end to love in terms of acting, couples that never happened but the tension between them transcended the screens. It is impressive how a TV show can catch you and occupy your free afternoons in the best way.
