A day at the beach 🌊 ☀️ sun, beach and sand

Hola hive!! Espero que todos se encuentren muy bien :)
Quería compartirlas un poco de la última salida que tuve a mi lugar feliz, la playa.
Tenía muchísimo tiempo sin venir a esta playa de mi ciudad. Si, primeramente por temas de pandemia, es decir desde hace más de año y medio, pero, estoy segura que ya tenía mucho más tiempo sin ir.

I wanted to share with you a little bit of the last outing I had to my happy place, the beach.
It's been a long time since I've been to this beach in my city. Yes, first of all because of the pandemic, that is, since more than a year and a half ago, but I'm sure I hadn't been there for much longer than that.

Esta playa es de las más concurridas de mi ciudad. Desde siempre se ha caracterizado por estar repleta de gente. Tengo muchísimos recuerdos felices y divertidos de mi infancia en esta rica playa. Aquí venía seguido con mi familia a darnos un chapuzón en la rica y fría agua salada. Un domingo playero no podía faltar... en vacaciones y semana Santa, esta playa era un destino fijo.
Anteriormente la playa estaba full de toldos para alquilar. Cada toldo tenía su Mesa y sillas... Recuerdo también, que en los paseos a la playa con mi familia debíamos alquilar dos toldos y pedir muchas más sillas (y eso que algunos nos sentábamos en la arena), es que éramos bastantes. Del toldo a la orilla de la playa había una distancia bien diferenciada, pues, los tolditos más cercanos a la orilla solo eran de dos sillas. En fin, una vez que te adentrabas al agua, debías estar pendiente de como ubicarte, porque de tanta gente que había en la arena, tu toldo se perdía de vista entre la multitud..

This beach is one of the busiest in my city. It has always been characterized for being full of people. I have many happy and fun memories of my childhood in this rich beach. I often came here with my family to take a dip in the rich and cold salt water. A Sunday at the beach could not be missed... during vacations and Holy Week, this beach was a fixed destination.
Previously the beach was full of awnings for rent. Each awning had its own table and chairs... I also remember, that in the walks on the beach with my family we had to rent two awnings and ask for many more chairs (and that some of us sat on the sand), because there were so many of us. From the awning to the shore of the beach there was a well differentiated distance, because the awnings closest to the shore were only two chairs. Anyway, once you got into the water, you had to be aware of how to position yourself, because with so many people on the sand, your awning was lost from sight in the crowd...

Recuerdo como corría esa distancia desde el toldo a la orilla del mar. Entre risas, caminaba rápidamente mientras las plantas de mis pies se quemaban y yo luchaba por llegar lo más pronto posible a que la fría agua de la playa aliviara lo caliente de la arena.
Hoy en día, recién visitándola todo fue totalmente distinto. La cantidad de toldos había disminuido, y la cantidad de gente no era ni un cuarto de lo que asistía antes. Influyen muchas cosas: pandemia, gasolina, inflación... Sin embargo, la paz y felicidad que me transmite este lugar sigue siendo la misma.

I remember how I ran that distance from the awning to the seashore. Laughing, I walked quickly while the soles of my feet burned and I struggled to get as soon as possible to the cold water of the beach to alleviate the hot sand.
Today, having just visited, everything was totally different. The number of canopies had diminished, and the number of people was not even a quarter of what it used to be. Many things have an influence: pandemic, gasoline, inflation.... However, the peace and happiness that this place transmits to me is still the same.

Caminé por la orilla de la playa, deje que mis pies se llenaran de arena y mi alma se recargada de energías. La vista estaba hermosa, para nuestra suerte hubo sol todo el día. No pudimos estar para el atardecer pero no puedo negar que disfrute de la brisa y el mar, y sobretodo de la compañía de mi familia.

Sin embargo hay una cosa que me encanta de la playa, el tono bronceado que le da a la piel pero... Tanto ahora como antes, me costó mucho broncearme, mi piel no se bronca fácil. A veces solo los cachetes se me ponen un poco colorados y luego se me pasa. Esta vez no funcionó y aunque estuve un tiempo bajo el sol, mi piel blanca no tomó color...pero no me quejo, al menos tuve mi Vitamina D

I walked along the shore of the beach, let my feet fill with sand and my soul recharged with energy. The view was beautiful, for our luck there was sun all day. We couldn't be there for the sunset but I can't deny that I enjoyed the breeze and the sea, and most of all the company of my family.
However there is one thing I love about the beach, the tanned tone it gives to the skin but.... Both now and before, I had a hard time getting a tan, my skin doesn't tan easily. Sometimes only my cheeks get a little red and then it goes away. This time it didn't work and even though I was in the sun for a while, my white skin didn't take color... but I'm not complaining, at least I got my Vitamin D.
