The brethrens shared a testimony of the wonders of good works in their lives from MCGI.
Then the brethrens shared the lessons from the previous teachings.
It is is important for us to follow the instructions and keep the commandments of God.
Ecclesiastes 12:13
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
1 Corinthians 14:37
If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
There are sets of laws that needs to be kept.
1 Corinthians 4:6
And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.
Those given by God has understanding.
We need to understand the details of how to fulfill the laws that are written.
1 Timothy 2:9
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
John 13:34
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
1 john 3:16
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
This laws that are being commanded by God has basis and nothing difficult to understand as they all have references.
We are to obey the commandments and keep the commandments.
Alot of persons look for ways to circumvent the laws so they won't keep it.
Mathew 28:20
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Romans 13:8
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
If we have the fear of God we will keep his commandments.
For if we learn to love our fellowmen then we have already fulfilled the law.
There are many guidelines for us to obey or fulfill the commandments of God
1 john 5:3
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
Keeping the laws of God is not even difficult.
Love makes the obedience to the law of God light
Someone can make a decision to change from something based on the love he has for the person.
Mathew 10:37
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
Luke 9:23
And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
