Here we are in another magnificent QOTM week with a topic as exciting and diverse as there are people in the world; destiny or karma?

Here I leave you the original post with the basics to be able to participate in the QOTW.

Every time I read the QOTW guidelines it gives me a lot of enthusiasm to participate, but when I sit down to write it would seem that all the concepts and beliefs get confused in my mind to the point of not knowing how to write, but thank God the ideas begin to sort themselves out in my mind.

When we refer to the word destiny, personally I would have the feeling that it is a series of events that will inevitably occur and that we could not avoid whatever decision we make. It would be like saying that we all have the pages of our books written and we just have to let them turn one by one. It is a concept that has a great weight in religious beliefs.

Who has not been told on more than one occasion that God already has a plan for us and that we should only dedicate ourselves to live it in the best way. As you say in the publication in which you propose the topic, it would seem that the word destiny refers to a higher or supernatural power, which would happen whatever the path we have taken in our lives.

When we talk about Karma we are also referring to concepts that arises from the Buddhist and Hindu religion that expresses that what happens to us in life is a consequence of our actions. It would be like a law of cause and effect, or you will reap what you sow.

Destiny and karma are two purely religious concepts and are closely related to the beliefs of each person.

To these two concepts I would add another very important concept:

The power of attraction.

The power or the law of attraction is a line of thought that states that everything that happens in our lives has its origin in our thoughts, so we would be the ones who are in control of our lives.

This theory states that nothing happens by chance, but it is our thoughts that determine our life and gives a very great power to our minds so that if we think something with all our strength the universe will conspire to make it happen.

I personally believe that these three concepts are interrelated and that they come together to make our reality what it is.
I feel that at a certain point our lives have a written path, but at the same time I believe that our actions, our energy and our thoughts can cause us to rewrite the pages of our book.

I believe in karma, since in a certain way I believe that in life we end up reaping what we sow, even if at a certain moment we have the feeling that life behaves unfairly with us and that is when I believe that the law or the power of attraction comes into play.

In those cases we should ask ourselves if it was not really our mind that conspired against ourselves.

Destiny, karma and the power of attraction form a triangle that ultimately will mark how our lives will be.

Undoubtedly these topics are very broad and each one of us will have our own thoughts and beliefs, which are all equally respectable.
