Beauty Hiding on the Side of the Road

As the sun began to rise and its rays touched the ground, I walked slowly along the edge of the small road that I usually pass. I never expected, there I would find a small miracle that grows deceitfully and naturally: a purple kencana flower that was blooming.

Its soft color, with a gradation of deep purple in the middle and petals that seemed to be painted by nature's hand, made me stop for a moment. Its tough green leaves became a stage for this flower, making its beauty stand out even more amidst the dust and dirt on the side of the road.

At that moment I realized, how many small beauties often escape our sight. This one lying purple kencana flower seemed to say, "Beauty is not always in a special place. Sometimes, it grows gracefully and quietly in the most ordinary places."

I smiled, took a close-up photo of the flower, and promised to pay more attention to the little things around it. Beauty never chooses a place, it grows anywhere for anyone who wants to appreciate it.
