What a lovely story!! I had to send my dachshund over the rainbow bridge, and boy do I miss him! Thanks for showing this dog how love can be, for spreading love.

We had been owned by a number of dachshunds, and have rescued several dozen. Each has been different, fun, and I miss every single dog!
They are just like short legged people.
With the greeting I have waiting for me at the rainbow bridge, I will have to swim the river, just to be safe...ROFLOL!
