Since when do we trust the government blindly?
Seems to me a whole lot of people have been doing this since WWII and probably earlier. The last three years are great evidence of just how far people will go if their government tells them to. Enforcement by regulations has been the accepted norm for a few years now. Perhaps we were being primed for the financial shenanigans going on now.
I won't pretend I understand all of what you say here, but I get the jist. I hope we continue to sit pretty.

Yeah it's just that normally crypto people know better than to do this.
Prime example that when data fits our bias we tend to trust it blindly without asking questions.
