Sunday of Praise and worship
What a Sunday to behold. Today been 21 June, 2025 which happen to be the middle of the year, the brethren of ERCC church Bethel land Angwan kpandom Akwanga observed a praise and worship service.
Its a service of songs of praise and thanksgiven to God for sustainance and all he has done to our life. It was indeed a beautiful experience in church. The full was filled with capacity with men and women dressed mostly on white and looking ready with dancing shoes.
It all began with opening session of worship lead by the church music team which lasted for few minutes . The Lord led us through this sessions of Worship Songs and Prayers that many enjoyed so much. This section was followed by congregational Hym from SS and S number 89.
The Great Physician now is near,
The sympathising Jesus ;
He speaks the drooping heart to cheer,

Sweetest note in seraph song.
Sweetest name on mortal tongue,
Sweetest carol ever sung :

Come, brethren, help me sing His praise.
Oh, praise the name of Jesus !

Oh, bless the name of Jesus !
The children, too, both great and small,
Who love the name of Jesus,
May now accept the gracious call
To work and live for Jesus.
And when to the bright world above
We rise to see our Jesus,
We'll sing around the throne of love
His name, the name of Jesus.
After the Hyme the senior pastor led a special prayer followed by anouncemt.
Second praise session was highlighted by makosa song, cultural songs of plateau, Eggon and Igbo. We dance and the Lord moved in healing and restoration amongst the congregation.
Its indeed a good thing to praise the Lord for what he has done for us. Have you find time to praise God?
