Ladies of Hive community contest #55

I am always happy when I see that I can participate in some Contest here on Hive. I will like to thank @ladiesofhive community for always bringing interesting questions every week and giving many people opportunity to air out their views.

I will like to attempt the two questions because I find it so interesting to me.

What is your favorite thing about this time of year?

One thing I love about this year is me being able to achieve what I have planned so many years back. For the past 13 years I have not set my eyes on my elder sister and I have been making empty promises to go and visit her every year. I remembered when I spoke with her last two years and I promised to visit her during the Christmas period and at the end of the day I failed.

Same thing happened last year but I promised myself never to repeat the same thing this year. I finally traveled to Warri, Delta state Nigeria to visit her and for the first time in my life I used train to travel 🤣🤣. When she saw me she couldn't recognize me but like they say "blood is thicker than water". We hugged ourselves, she was very happy to see me after so many years and I was also happy seeing her. I also visited some other places in Delta state, it was more like an adventure for me and I enjoyed every part of it.

We discussed for a very long time. I only spent three days there and I never wanted to go but I had to. I enjoyed every moment we spent together.

How would you spend one million dollars?

If I say I want to convert a million dollars to my currency here in Nigeria, it will be a fortune to me. Well I have been thinking of what to do with a million dollars and there are lots of this I can do with it.

I have always wanted to travel to U.S someday and I won't mind using some of the money to explore the country. I have heard nice things about the country and how beautiful the country is. I also heard that the people there are nice and friendly. I will use some of the money to travel and learn some of their cultures.

Of course, I won't forget about investing some of the money into cryptocurrencies and other businesses. Every since I got to know about crypto, I have always love to invest in some of them and I know it will definitely yield profits. Investing is a good business because the more you invest the more profits you make.

Purchase of land/houses

It has always be my dream to be a house owner someday, so using some of the money to get a house won't be a bad idea. Having a house is one of the best asset you can get for yourself. if possible I will like to build more houses where I get to rent it to people and also make more money from it. Lol

I will also use part of the money to set up a business for my sister. Since we don't have much in the family, setting up a business for her will be a very nice one and am sure she will love it.

There are many things to do with one million dollars and I am glad I could share some of those things with you 🙂.
