Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! It is incredible how many times they are cutting the electricity in my town, so I have no choice but to spend the time drawing sketches in traditional, because without electricity I can not use my Tablet and PC. Although I do these sketches in traditional and then pass them to digital, at the speed of light, I really love to return to draw in traditional, maybe I will make a series of drawings drawing in traditional, not to lose that taste or better yet, draw in traditional and then pass it to digital.

Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Es increíble la cantidad de veces que están cortando la luz eléctrica en mi pueblo, así que no me toca de otra que pasarle el rato dibujando bocetos y en tradicional, ya que sin luz eléctrica no puedo usar mi Tablet y PC. A pesar de que estos bocetos los hago en tradicional y luego los paso a digital, a velocidad de la luz, realmente me está encantando volver a dibujar en tradicional, tal haga una serie de dibujos dibujando en tradicional, para no perder ese gusto o mejor aún, dibujar en tradicional y luego pasarlo a digital.

Este boceto estilizado lo tome principalmente de una foto de Instagram, me encanto mucho la pose de la persona, además el concepto de la imagen en sí me llamo la atención y dije bueno, porque no dibujarla y ver cómo queda.

I started doing the sketch in traditional and let's see, actually when I do a quick drawing in traditional, I don't usually take pictures of the process, since most of the times I don't think I'm going to upload it to the Blog or that it's just a drawing to pass the time and that's it, so I don't take great importance to it, but as I'm seeing that lately I've been drawing more in traditional and then I pass it to digital and then share it here in the Blog, I think I'll start taking a couple of photos of the process when I make a drawing in traditional, as we know how things are in terms of plagiarism and so on.

Comencé haciendo el boceto el tradicional y a ver, realmente cuando hago dibujo algo rápido es tradicional, no suelo tomarle fotos al proceso, ya que en la gran mayoría de las veces no pienso que lo voy a subir al Blog o que simplemente es un dibujo solo para pasar el rato y ya, así que no le tomo gran importancia, pero como estoy viendo que últimamente he estado dibujando más en tradicional y luego lo paso al digital para luego compartirlo acá en el Blog, creo que comenzare a tomar un par de fotos al proceso cuando haga algún dibujo en tradicional, ya que sabemos cómo son las cosas en cuanto al plagio y demás.

When I take the picture of the drawing and pass it to Clip Studio Paint, what I do is to go to work the line art, because really the drawing is already done, I just notice if there is something I don't like or I see some proportions in the composition of the drawing and I change it, but I always start from there, with the line art work. To be honest, in this drawing I didn't have much to do or fix, really the proportions in my opinion were fine, so I didn't find any mistakes.

Cuando le tomo la foto al dibujo y la paso al Clip Studio Paint, lo que hago es irme a trabajar el line art, porque realmente ya el dibujo esta hecho, solo que me fijo si hay algo que no me guste o vea alguna proporcional en la composición del dibujo y lo cambio, pero de ahí parto siempre, con el trabajo de line art. Para serles sincero, en este dibujo no tuve mucho que hacer o arreglar, realmente las proporciones en mi parecer estaban bien, así que no le encontré errores.

Once I have the line art ready, I start detailing the drawing, which is simply adding color, which in this case is working with shades of gray, since it is a stylized sketch and I like to add the shadows and details in gray and not so much in black, because I feel that black would give a too dark tone to the sketch and that is not what I am really looking for. I am detailing the skin. Clothes and other elements in the drawing, helping me mainly with a watercolor brush and a watercolor paint mixer. I finish the stylized sketch, adding some details, which would be like a kind of glitter or simulating the same, to give a more "stylized" touch to it and ready, that would be all friends.

Una vez que tengo el line art listo, comienzo a detallar el dibujo, que simplemente es agregar color, que es este caso es trabajar con tonalidades de gris, ya que es un boceto estilizado y me gusta agregar las sombras y detalles en gris y no tanto en negro, porque siento que el negro le daría una tonalidad demasiado oscura al boceto y eso no es lo que busco en realidad. Voy detallando la piel. Ropa y demás elementos en el dibujo, ayudándome principalmente de un pincel de acuarela y un mezclador de pintura para acuarelas. Termino el boceto estilizado, agregando unos detalles, que serían como una especie de brillos o simulando los mismos, para darle un toque más “estilizado” al mismo y listo, eso sería todo amigos.
