Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! Continuing with this series of drawings, which is focused mostly on stylized sketches, I took as a reference a picture of Arca, a musical artist who loves to experiment with different musical genres, which I love, so I share with you a little bit of how I did it.

Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Siguiendo con esta serie d dibujos, que esta enfocada mas que todo en bocetos estilizados, tome como referencia una foto de Arca, una artista musical que le encanta experimentar con diferentes géneros musicales, lo cual me encanta, así que les comparto un poco como lo hice.

This was the photo I took as a reference to make the sketch. I just saw it and I loved it, because it made me activate my creativity and inspiration to draw.

Esta fue la foto que tome como referencia para hacer el boceto. Simplemente la vi y me encanto mucho, porque me hice activar la creatividad e inspiración para dibujar.

I started making the sketch in my sketchbook, since lately I have returned to drawing in traditional, even if only sketches, and then transfer them to digital.

Comencé haciendo el boceto en mi sketchbook, ya que últimamente he vuelto a retomar dibujar en tradicional, aunque sea bocetos, para luego pasarlos al digital.

Once in Clip Studio Paint, which is the digital drawing program I use, what I do is to pass the photo of the sketch in traditional and begin to detail it. Basically what I do is to start working on the line art, while I'm adjusting the sketch, in terms of anatomy and so on.

Ya estando en Clip Studio Paint, que es el programa de dibujo digital que uso, lo que hago es pasar la foto del boceto en tradicional y comenzar a detallar el mismo. Básicamente lo que hago es comenzar a trabajar el line art, mientras voy ajustando el boceto, en cuanto a anatomía y demás.

When I have the sketch ready with the finished line art, I begin to do the "color" work, which is to add gray in different shades, so I work on the contrast in the drawing and give it body, so that it is not just a basic line art work and that's it, hence the name "stylized sketches".

Cuando tengo listo el boceto con el line art acabado, comienzo a hacer el trabajo de "color", que es agregar gris en diferentes tonalidades, así trabajo lo que es el contraste en el dibujo y le doy cuerpo al mismo, para que no solo sea un trabajo de line art básico y ya, de ahí el nombre de "bocetos estilizados".

I'm adding color and detailing each area of the sketch, to finish adding some shadows and glows in it and that's all, that would be all.

Voy agregando color y detallando cada zona del boceto, para así terminar agregando algunas sombras y brillos en el mismo y listo amigos, eso seria todo.
