Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! Getting back into portrait drawing, I chose another one I did a few months ago using traditional media and converted it to digital. It was a Holozing fan art piece, so I hope you like it. I’ve actually been thinking about creating a sort of series of digital drawings, where I convert all the sketches I do in graphite or watercolor to digital and see what they look like in that format.

Hola gente bonita! ¡Espero estén súper bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Retomando nuevamente la creación de retratos, escogí otro que hice hace unos meses atrás en tradicional y lo pase al digital, fue un fan art de Holozing, así que espero les guste. Realmente ando pensando en hacer una especie de serie de dibujos digitales, en done paso de tradicional al digital todos aquellos dibujos que llegue a hacer en con grafito o acuarelas y verlos hecho ahora en digital.

This was the traditional drawing I did that I wanted to convert to digital, since I loved how it turned out so much and wanted to see it in digital form; it was a portrait that I really liked when I drew it.

Este fue el dibujo en tradicional que hice y que quise pasar al digital, ya que me encanto demasiado como quedo y quería verlo en digital, fue un retrato que me gusto mucho cuando lo hice.

The first thing I did was transfer the drawing to a new layer in Clip Studio Paint and digitize the sketch. I made a few minor adjustments to the anatomy, and once that was done, I added a base color layer in this case, the skin tone.

Lo que hice primeramente fue pasar el dibujo a una capa nueva en el clip studio paint y sacar el boceto en digital. Le arregle ciertas cositas mínimas que tenia en cuanto a anatomía y cuando lo tuve hecho, lo que hice después fue agregar una capa base de color, que es este caso fue el color de la piel.

After that, what I do next is add each base color for each element in the drawing. Then I start adding details all over the face.

Luego de eso, lo que hago después es ir agregando cada color base para cada elemento en el dibujo. Seguidamente comienzo a agregar los detalles en todo la cara.

The truth is, I always start by working on the face, because that’s my weakness so much so that it’s what I’m best at drawing faces. As I continue with the illustration, I add all kinds of details to the entire character details on the face, clothes, hair, and so on.

La verdad es que siempre comienzo a detallar la cara, porque es mi debilidad, tanto así que es lo que mejor se da en dibujar, los rostros. siguiendo con la ilustración, voy agregando todo tipo de detalles en todo el personaje, detalles en la cara, ropa, cabello y demás.

I finished this illustration by adding the final touches, such as highlights and line art. It was exactly what I expected a perfect 10 in my book and it’s going straight to my list of favorites for this year.

Culmino esta ilustración agregando los ultimo detalles, como fueron los brillos y el line art. Sin duda era lo que me esperaba, un dibujo totalmente de 10 para mi, se agrega directamente a mis lista de favoritos de este año.
