Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! I took the afternoon off to do some drawing and take my mind off things. For inspiration, I used a character from Holozing, who is the forest healer, and I did it in a traditional style. I hope you like it.

Hola gente bonita! ¡Espero estén súper bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Tome la tarde para dibujar un poco y distraer la mente y para ello, tomé como referencia e inspiración un personaje de Holozing, el cual es la sanadora del bosque y lo hice en tradicional, espero les guste.

I started by making a sketch, using the original illustration as my main reference. The only thing I changed in my version was the hair, since the original character has wavy hair and I made mine somewhat straight, but tousled.

Comencé haciendo el boceto, tomando como referencia principal la ilustración original. Lo único que le cambie a mi versión, fue el hecho de hacer el pelo diferente, puesto a que el personaje original tiene el cabello ondulado y el mio lo hice un tanto liso, pero despeinado.

When I had the sketch ready, which basically consisted of a portrait with a somewhat depressed look, I began to clean it up. I used a moldable eraser to remove the excess graphite and prevent the entire drawing from smudging when I added the details.

Cuando tuve el boceto listo, que en resumen lo que hice fue hacer un retrato con una mirada un tanto depresiva, lo que hice después fue comenzara a limpiar todo el mismo. Tomo un borrador moldeable para quitar el exceso de grafito y evitar que todo el dibujo se manche a la hora de detallarlo.

To add detail to the whole drawing, I painted certain areas with ink. I'm really enjoying this technique of adding detail to my traditional drawings with ink. It literally involves painting a little and then adding detail, whereas before I only added detail with line art. But since I've been working on my drawings this way, I think they look nicer.

Para detallar todo el dibujo, lo que hice fue pintarlo con tinta en ciertas zonas. La verdad que esto me esta gustando bastante, el detallar mis dibujos en tradicional con tinta, es literal pintarlo un poco y luego detallarlos, ya que antes solo los detalla con line art, pero desde que he venido trabajando mis dibujos de este forma, los siento mas lindos.

The last thing I do is detail the entire drawing with a mechanical pencil once I have painted it. I add final details such as highlights and so on, clean up the drawing again, and finally add my signature. That's all, folks.

Lo ultimo que hago es detallar todo el dibujo con portaminas, una vez he pintado el dibujo. Agrego detalles finales como los brillos y demás, vuelvo a limpiar el dibujo y finalmente agrego mi firma. Eso seria todo amigos.
