Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! I think that by this point, it's too obvious the fact that my favorite Holozing character is the female light healer. The truth is that she is my great inspiration when it comes to make a fan art, since I feel like drawing her every time I see a Holozing drawing and this week was no exception.

Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Creo que ya para este punto, es demasiado evidente el hecho de que mi personaje favorito de Holozing es la sanadora de la luz,femenina. La verdad que es mi gran inspiración a la hora de hacer un fan art, ya que me entran una ganas demasiado enormes para dibujarla cada que veo algún dibujo de Holozing y esta semana no fue la excepción.

I started making the drawing directly, taking as a reference a picture of a model I found on Pinterest, which the truth is; I don't know why I use references, if lately I don't even see them when making the drawing, it's just a habit of mine, to look for inspiration in a photo or others, because the rest I always end up doing to my knowledge and styling to my own style.

Comencé haciendo el dibujo directamente, tomando como referencia una fotografía de una modelo que encontré en Pinterest, que la verdad; ya no sé porque uso referencias, si últimamente ni las veo al hacer el dibujo, solo es costumbre de mí parte, el buscar inspiración en una foto o demás, porque lo demás siempre lo termino haciendo a mi conocimiento y estilizando a mi estilo propio.

For my version, what I did was to add some horns and the truth is that the hands that you see in the drawing, at first I wasn't going to integrate them to the composition, but I wanted to draw hands and I feel that they enhance more my style of drawing, since I love to draw hands and lately I'm discarding them too much from the portraits I do, so this time there were hands, people.

Para mi versión, lo que hice fue agregarles unos cuernos y la verdad que las manos que se ven en el dibujo, al principio no las iba a integrar a la composición, pero quería dibujar manos y siento que realzan más mi estilo de dibujo, ya que me encanta dibujar manos y últimamente las manos las estoy descartando demasiado de los retratos que hago, así que esta vez si hubieron manos gente.

As I always tell you, once I have the sketch ready, what I do next is to pass a moldable eraser over it to remove the excess of graphite from the pencil and so I don't smudge the whole drawing. After that, I start to detail the whole drawing using different mechanical pencils to work the line art. I mainly use three mechanical pencils to draw and shape different thicknesses in the lines, I can do it with only one mechanical pencil? yes, but you save a lot of time having several and drawing a single line with different thickness and that's it.

Como siempre les digo, una vez que tengo el boceto listo, lo que hago luego es pasar un borrador moldeable por encima de este y así quitar el exceso de grafito del lápiz y así no manchar todo el dibujo. Luego de ello, comienzo a detallar todo el dibujo usando diferentes portaminas para trabajar el line art. Principalmente uso tres portaminas para ello y así poder dibujar y plasmar diferentes grosores en las lineas, que lo puedo hacer con un solo portaminas? si, pero te ahorras mucho tiempo teniendo varios y trazando una única linea con diferente grosor y ya esta.

Another thing I wanted to talk about, is the fact that I want to go back to working with color in my traditional drawings, because in a way and although I love to work this style of drawing in line art, it is true that I need to return to color with my traditional works, so I'm going to start saving to buy some good brushes and paints, support this post for a good cause hehehehe. Otra cosa de la que quería hablar, es del hecho de que quiero volver a trabajar el color en mis dibujos en tradicional, ya que de cierto modo y a pesar de que me encanta trabajar este estilo de dibujo en line art, si es verdad que me hace falta volver al color con mis trabajos en tradicional, así que voy a comenzar a ahorrar parar comprar unos buenos pinceles y pinturas, apoyen este post por una buena causa jejeje.
