The Art Journal is a visual diary or a creative journal in which we can experiment with different techniques to express feelings, emotions and creativity. We can use any kind of material, such as paper, paints and so on. I wanted to use mostly paper, so I make use of all the old magazines and newspapers I have at home.

El Art Journal es un diario visual o un diario creativo en el podemos experimentar con diferentes técnicas para expresar sentimientos, emociones y creatividad. Podemos usar cualquier tipo de material, como papel, pinturas y demás. Yo quise usar mas que todo papel, así le doy uso a todas las revistas y periódicos viejos que tengo en casa.

🌵PROCESS // PROCESO🌵

The last few days I was in a lot of emotions and feelings, as I was going through some family problems. That's why my distancing from the blog. After a while, I'm back to resume my creative life, so to speak, starting to draw and now, making a new art journal.

Los últimos días estuve en un sin fin de emociones y sentimientos, ya que estaba pasando por algunos problemas familias. Por eso mi distanciamiento en el blog. Luego de un tiempo, vuelvo a retomar mi vida creativa, por así decirlo, comenzando a dibujar y ahora, haciendo un nuevo art journal.

For this art journal, I wanted to be inspired by anguish, since it's what I've been going through the most these days, as well as anxiety. I didn't want to use too much color in this work, but I didn't want to make it too dark either, so I resorted to do it with cutouts and light colors.

Para este art journal, quise inspirarme en la angustia, ya que es por lo que más pase todos estos días, al igual que la ansiedad. No quise usar mucho color en este trabajo, pero tampoco lo quise hacer tan oscuro, así que recurrí por hacerlo con recortes y colores claros.

I came up with the phrase I used for this art journal on my own, giving myself strength and encouragement:

"My anxieties and fears can never overcome me."

La frase que use para este art journal la saque por mi cuenta, dándome fuerzas y ánimos a mi mismo:

"Mis angustias t temores, nunca podrán vencerme."
