Good day, greetings to all the members and administrators of this great thematic community on reflections and shadows. My name is Óscar and my work and line on my blog is photography, often focused on very specific topics as is the case here. My name on the networks is @oscarps. I was away from the networks for a while but I have resumed my activity within my blog. Possibly many of the people who participate and manage this community know me and some of my work, now when searching this wonderful community I discover people with whom I have been linked for a long time. A big hug from Spain to both the veterans and the new additions that fill with content and diversity and brighten our day to day. A special greeting to one of the people who have supported me for more than 5 years and who continue this great journey together.

One of the issues that most fascinates me when looking for that image is the shadows, reflections and details that make the dimension of what I see and try to capture have that volume and sensation of a double inverse plane. What strikes me about looking for these types of images reminds me of my principles in analog photography, with those negatives and developed.

Going in search of these images of shadows and reflections conditions my way of seeing the different possibilities, delimiting my field of action for this type of photography. Stopping to look for that shadow, sometimes moving to get fantastic drawings with its projection or the reverse mirror effect produced by flat, metallic or water surfaces are some of the specific places I use to take these images.

Once the images are obtained, the second part enters for me, which is the photographic edition. I am always trying to learn and evolve in it looking for my personal touch. Many times I try to get out of the conventional for the artistic way in which I work my images and I try to give it that stamp. Throughout my years in editing I have gone through different stages in the way I feel it and lately I feel that my editing has become dark, almost bordering on scratchy, but I like it that way.

Buen día, saludos a todos los miembros y administradores de esta gran comunidad temática sobre reflejos y sombras. Me llamo Óscar y mi trabajo y línea en mi blog es la fotografía, muchas veces centrada en temas muy concretos como es este caso. Mi nombre en las redes es @oscarps. Estuve un tiempo alejado de las redes pero he retomado mi actividad dentro de mi blog. Posiblemente muchas de las personas que participan y gestionan esta comunidad me conocen a mí y a algunos de mis trabajos, ahora al buscar en esta maravillosa comunidad descubro personas con las que he estado vinculado durante mucho tiempo. Un fuerte abrazo desde España tanto a los veteranos como a las nuevas incorporaciones que llenan de contenido y diversidad y alegran nuestro día a día. Un saludo especial a una de las personas que me habéis apoyado desde hace mas de 5 años y que continuamos este gran viaje juntos.

Una de los temas que más me fascinan a la hora de buscar esa imagen son las sombras, reflejos y detalles que hace que la dimensión de lo que veo y trato de capturar tenga ese volumen y sensación de doble plano inverso. Lo que se me hace llamativo de buscar este tipo de imágenes me recuerda a mis principios en fotografía analógica, con aquellos negativos y revelados.

El ir en búsqueda de estas imágenes de sombras y reflejos condiciona mi manera de ver las distintas posibilidades acotando para este tipo de fotografía mi campo de acción. El pararse a buscar esa sombra, el moverse para conseguir a veces dibujos fantásticos con su proyección o el efecto de espejo inverso que producen las superficies planas, metálicas o el agua son algunos de los sitios concretos que uso para tomar estas imágenes.

Una vez obtenidas las imágenes entra la segunda parte para mi que es la edición fotográfica. Siempre estoy tratando de aprender y evolucionar en ella buscando mi toque personal. Trato de salirme muchas veces de lo convencional por la forma artística en que trabajo mis imágenes y procuro darle ese sello. A lo largo de mis años en edición he pasado por diferentes etapas en la forma de sentirla y últimamente siento que mi edición se ha vuelto oscura, casi rayando lo chirriante, pero me gusta ese camino.

Espero que os hayan gustado las imágenes que propongo y tengo también muchos deseos de participar con vosotros en esta gran comunidad.

Thank you very much for appreciating these images and for visiting me. The truth is that those projected shadows of the bare branches have something mysterious to me, when I observe them it is like a strange code, I have seen some ancient Arabic writings and there are certain similarities in some parts, I find it very curious.
