ecoTrain QOTW s7.9: Which technologies have had a positive influence on your life?
Radio is the technology that has influence my life positively.
Radio is the technology of signaling and communicating that is using radio waves.
The Radio waves are electromagnetic waves of frequency between 30 hertz (Hz) and 300 gigahertz (GHz).
I could still remember when my Dad use to turn the radio antenna from one point to another, in search of radio stations, and if he is not able to activate the station he wanted to, he would now placed the antenna outside the room, he would take it outside and turn it and turn it till it works perfectly on they station he was after.
Technology has made radio now in automation method, which no one have to turn an antenna before any certain radio station is activated, it just now by a power on of a radio, take it to FM and set the volume in the Level you like, then use a remote to locate the frequency you are looking for, now making the whole process of turning of antenna from one point to another less.
Radio has promote national building and also makes it achievable by disseminating of news and events. Every Radio station primary aims is to broadcast news and events, making the people to be aware of certain Event at any point in time.
If not for a radio, activities around me would not be knwon to me and the one's I am hosting people would not be broadcast and you will not be ware of it also, but radio breached this gap and make everything work perfectly for me and you.
Therefore, I summarized that, the technology that have had a positive influence on my life is Radio.
