Hola amigos, aquí estoy de nuevo para compartirles una nueva experiencia, en esta ocasión me tocó recuperar un regulador y protector de voltaje de cuatro toma-corrientes, es un viejo equipo que lo usaba mi hijo para su computadora, luego se le dañó y lo dejo guardado entre otros cachivaches, hasta ayer que limpiando su closet vio este protector y me llamó para preguntarme si lo quería, bueno amigos, mi hijo antes de tirar algún equipo a la basura, primero me llama, porque yo le he dicho, que a veces un equipo deja de funcionar simplemente por un cable partido, por esta razón hay que revisarlos bien, ahora, si el equipo no tiene reparación, también podemos recuperar algunas piezas que estén buenas, porque pueden servir de repuestos para otros equipos, fíjense, que en una oportunidad salí bien temprano de mi casa y en una esquina de la calle habían tirado un micro-onda, me detuve y le eche un vistazo y vi que aun tenia todas sus piezas internas, enseguida lo agarre y lo metí en el carro, bueno amigos, de este micro-onda aproveche el ventilador, el cual estaba en perfecto estado, también los tornillos y el transformador, quien lo tiro no sabia del valor de estas piezas.

Para la revisión de este protector de voltaje, le quité la carcasa, enseguida pude observar sus partes internas, entre ellos el fusible de protección, así que antes de seguir revisando las demás piezas decidí retirar este fusible para ver el estado del filamento que sirve de resistencia, y decidí comenzar con esto, porque vi que el fusible se veía manchado, lo cual es una señal cuando están fundidos.

For the review of this voltage protector, I removed the casing, I was immediately able to observe its internal parts, including the protection fuse, so before continuing to review the other parts I decided to remove this fuse to see the state of the filament that serves as resistance, and I decided to start with this, because I saw that the fuse looked smudged, which is a sign when they are blown.

Bueno amigos, al ver el fusible fundido, la verdad fue que sentí un gran alivio, porque lo más seguro es que allí estaba el problema, así que enseguida busque un fusible dentro de mi organizador de repuestos y encontré un fusible de la misma capacidad del original que es de 250A, aunque el fusible que encontré tenia una diferencia de 2 milímetros de largo, pero lo importante es que encajaba bien en los ganchos del porta fusible

Una vez colocado el nuevo fusible, conecte el protector al toma-corriente y pase el suiche, enseguida encendió la luz amarilla de espera, y luego encendió la luz verde, lo cual indicaba que el protector de voltaje ya estaba bien:

De manera, que la falla de este equipo lo estaba ocasionando el fusible de protección el cual se había fundido, así que la reparación fue sencilla, ahora voy a colocar nuevamente la carcasa y una limpieza general y listo.
