¿Quién fue Víctor Gámez?
Víctor Gámez fue el cantante del grupo Los Darts desde 1965 hasta 1971. En 1971 debuta como solista y participa en el VII Festival de la Canción Moderna en Caracas. Su mayor éxito fue el tema Jesucristo (original de Roberto Carlos)”. Más adelante dice que dejó la música para dedicarse a la publicidad, y que falleció en 1988.

Víctor Gámez was the singer of the group Los Darts from 1965 to 1971. In 1971 he debuted as a soloist and participated in the VII Festival de la Canción Moderna in Caracas. His biggest hit was the song Jesus Christ (original by Roberto Carlos)”. He later says that he left music to dedicate himself to advertising, and that he died in 1988.

I love the song you sang. I read through the Englisy version of the lyrics and it's quite touching. Indeed the only true path is our Lord Jesus and as such we should follow Him.
