Hace algunos días estuve en Colombia visitando a la familia, la familia por parte de mi padre son Colombianos.
Mi familia decidió hacer un reencuentro, ya que por la distancia es difícil compartir.

Salimos temprano de San Cristóbal ese día el calor estaba horrible (para quienes no saben, soy poco tolerante al calor 😭). Cuando llegamos a Cucuta, ya nuestra familia nos estaba esperando. Fue un encuentro muy lindo, tenía al menos 15 años sin verlos, porque algunos integrantes de la familia son de Bogotá

A few days ago I was in Colombia visiting family, the family on my father's side are Colombians.
My family decided to have a reunion, since due to the distance it is difficult to share.

We left San Cristóbal early that day, the heat was horrible (for those who don't know, I'm not very tolerant to heat 😭). When we arrived in Cucuta, our family was already waiting for us. It was a very nice meeting, I had at least 15 years without seeing them, because some members of the family are from Bogotá

Me sentí muy bien recibida, me encantaba el ambiente, teníamos muchos temas de conversación. Conocí a los tíos y los primos, es increíble que la distancia interfiere tanto al momento de rodearse de personas tan especiales, pero me siento muy feliz que todos tuvimos el tiempo para reencontrarnos.

I felt very welcome, I loved the atmosphere, we had many topics of conversation. I met the uncles and cousins, it is incredible that the distance interferes so much when surrounding oneself with such special people, but I feel very happy that we all had the time to meet again

Fueron 3 días compartiendo, con largas charlas y buenas comidas. Sentía que esos 3 días no eran suficientes para actualizarme con tantos temas, con tantas historias familiares, con anécdotas.

They were 3 days sharing, with long talks and good meals. I felt that those 3 days were not enough to update myself with so many topics, with so many family stories, with anecdotes.

Tal vez no sean muchos kilómetros lo que nos separan, pero si existe cambios culturales que son extraordinarios y que mejor que la familia te muestre ese gran mundo.
Definitivamente fue un gran viaje, despertar por las mañana con una linda vista y un desayuno hecho con mucho amor

Perhaps it is not many kilometers that separate us, but there are cultural changes that are extraordinary and what better than the family to show you that great world.
It was definitely a great trip, waking up in the morning with a beautiful view and a breakfast made with a lot of love

Antes de regresar nuevamente a casa, pasamos por un restaurant típico de la localidad, cada uno ordenó un plato, yo decidí compartir mi plato con mi hermano ya que como en muy pequeñas porciones. El almuerzo estaba delicioso.

Before returning home again, we went through a typical local restaurant, each one ordered a dish, I decided to share my plate with my brother since I eat in very small portions. lunch was delicious

Fue un lindo viaje💕 me sentí muy especial, es grandioso saber que cuentas con una familia fenomenal, que a pesar de la distancia sabes que siempre estarán ahí para ti
