If the word of God is shining brightly, it will chase the darkness away. We do good to everyone even our enemies.

Romans 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

It is difficult to form peace with every men, If you fight everyone.

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

If people are asking for a reason we should be able to answer them. The righteousness can be seen by all men.

St. John 5:38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

If you believe in Christ, then the word of God should be clear in us. The word of God sanity us. We should be careful so that the word of God should not be removed by the cares of this world.

St. Luke 8:13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

Some might claim that they are listening to the word of God but they are not. We can not say we remain in faith, and we will not be keeping the word of God. We should not have double hearts. Those that choose the ways of the Lord, are righteous. It is the word of God that will access our hearts to know if we have a good heart or a rebellious heart.

James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

In our trust in God, we should not doubt Him. God knows our heart. He know those that believe and those that does not believe. We are can not deceive God. We can not receive anything from God if we have doubt.

James 1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

James 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

If we want to ask, we should ask in faith. When we want to give also, we should give in faith.

Romans 14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

The Acts 20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

We should not base our faith in the wisdom of men, we should base our faith in the power of God.
