1st Thing I Cooked In My New Air Fryer - PIZZA!

(Edited)

Peace foodies and pizza fanatics. I recently gave in to the hype and got an air fryer. I’m always hearing about how easy they make cooking without sacrificing the flavors and textures we all like. Plus, I have a 4 year old that I cook for daily. So anything that will make that process simpler and faster was worth looking into.

For the first go-round I wanted to stick with something real basic so I went with a pizza 🍕. Short list of ingredients and not a lot of work, especially if you’re buying pre-made crust. And my 4 year old sous-chef doesn’t like things being difficult…

  • Tomato
  • Onion
  • Mushrooms
  • Marinara Sauce
    or
  • Barbecue Sauce
  • Crushed red pepper
  • Cheese
  • Crust

After dressing up the crust, the next step was to preheat the fryer to 350F, then line the basket with parchment paper and toss the pizza in and set the timer. I cooked the first for 10min and the second for 12min.

We made two small pizzas, one with marinara and one with bbq sauce.

My daughter hates crunchy crust so the prettier one is hers lol. I like a little burn on mine so I took the 2nd one.

I was definitely surprised at how everything was heated evenly in that short span of time. I’ve made a few more pizzas since this one and u can get the crust just how you want it by playing with the temp and time settings. It was just as good if not better than any pizza I’ve had out a conventional oven.

Good looking pizza there. I have an air fryer, and I love it. Haven't cooked a tons of stuff, but it works just fine for my needs to just roast my meat/veggies.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the review of the first trial :)
I have always wanted an air fryer but now we moved countries, I'm glad we didn't buy one yet back then. I signed up to test one for a campaign, hoping to be one of the lucky testers soon and be able to write my own experiences with cooking with an air fryer.

I read many good things and I'm very curious if I love it as much myself.

What's the next thing you're going to prep with it?

Yea the pros definitely outweigh any cons I've heard. You can cook without oils, the clean up is easy, its versatile, and like I said you don't sacrifice taste or texture with my experience so far.
Im planning on doing some nachos and stuffed peppers!

Glad you're happy with your Airfryer. I use it multiple times a week and can't imagine my life without it. To me it's one of the best kitchen tools!
