FTX Crypto Exchange denies knowledge about PAC story by Decrypt (News Outlet)
Cryptocurrency derivative exchange led by CEO Sam Bankman-Fried and the official FTX company account on twitter, yesterday publicly denies the story on monday by a popular new outlet Decrypt, decrypt said that they had two unnamed sources who told them about FTX creating a PAC (Political Action Committee) or Super PAC to operate in Washington DC and to be led by the CEO of FTX Cryptocurrency derivative exchange.
On twitter Sam Bankman-Fried, tweeted yesterday about him having no idea about the PAC story.
"While we're excited to engage with regulator worldwide, including in Washington, I have no idea where the recent PAC-related rumors are coming from" Said by Sam Bankman-Fried.
The FTX on twitter also denied the story saying "if it wasn't clear the story is false".
The Decrypt article cited two unnamed sources “familiar with the matter,” and said that FTX would “advocate for crypto interests” through the PAC.source
Both parties FTX and Decrypt reputation can be affected, in my opinion Decrypt should go back to their unnamed sources for the truth, if not their reputation will be affected, because how can people now trust the news that they put out on their platform. And as for FTX, which in my opinion is on the best crypto exchange platform, could be affected if the two unnamed sources, come out to say the story was true, after FTX had publicly denied saying or knowing any about the PAC story.
