THE APPLE OF DISCORD IN VOGUE

Gone are the days when ladies were seen as the “apple of discord”, not like it was a good thing. However, in contemporary times we have witnessed more brawls happening in literally every corner of the world where you find grown women underrate and belittle themselves for trivial reasons.

This is what I know, it has become a common phenomenon to see women publicly fight over men. We see this same drama happening everywhere, in movies, music, and even in real life. So tiring!

Yesterday, as I was walking back to my house from the grocery store, I noticed a small crowd had gathered in my estate. Trust the inquisitive me to always want to know wassup. I went closer for a better look. Guess what I saw…two grown women rolling in the dirt, fighting dirty.

At this point, they had literally nothing left of their clothes. Several attempts to pull them off each other failed because they kept charging at each other like two wild lions aiming for the kill.

So, just like every other person there, I stared in disbelief as two beautiful young ladies ripped their clothes to shreds, dragged each other's braids to filth. I remember that the main cause of their disagreement was a man…A MAN.

PS: For ease of understanding, let’s call them lady A and lady B.

Apparently, they are flatmates. ‘The Apple of Discord’ here happened to be the boyfriend of Lady A. She had paid her boyfriend a surprise visit only to meet a scene that she never would have imagined.

Imagine the shock on her face when she saw her supposed boyfriend and her flatmate in a compromising position right there in his home. One thing led to another and a fight ensued. Somehow, they brought the whole thing outside. Best believe he just stared in amusement.

I know that she must have felt broken and betrayed. I understand the anger, the need for vengeance and all. However, I will never understand the concept behind fighting in public or private over a man who is most definitely playing you both. Yes, you are both getting PLAYED!

I mean you go to the extent of stalking the other woman on social media, send death threats to her with different numbers, have major confrontations with her in her home or in public over a man, only he(the apple of discord)sits back in amusement as two grown women who have no respect for themselves fight over him. Best believe he doesn’t give a rat ass about you both because he’s a selfish cheat.

Please understand that if a man is serious about you, he will always be prepared to take actions that show you how serious he is. He would be sensitive enough to your feelings and concerned about your every desire.

Whatever happens, do NOT do it. Regardless of how bad you feel, walk away with your head held up high and your shoulder pads raised to power 50 because you’re 100% in charge of your emotions. If you must punch something, find a wall or a punching bag. Just trust me.

Also, if you ever had to fight another lady because of a man’s infidelity, I’m sorry you had to feel that way. I’m sorry you allowed your emotions to get the best of you. I’m sorry that you failed to see how much of ‘the full package’ you really are. It’s his loss lady.

I do not know about you but I’m of the opinion that a man who is for you does not in any way put you in a situation where you feel like you have to compete or fight for his heart, love, attention, etc.
