DAY 11 MASS INDOCTRINATION MCGI CARES COMMUNITY HELD ON 08 MAY, 2023.

Greetings beloved MCGI cares, its an honor to attend Day 11 Mass Indoctrination and you are most welcome to my blog. My name is Olu Thomas, I will be sharing with this wonderful community and hive and my take from Day 11 Mass Indoctrination. Enjoy Reading.

LESSONS

I learned basically today how to take some responsibility not waiting for anyone to tell you or instruct us on everything before we do what is good, everyone has work that he has to accomplish in the church of God. There are things we should do voluntarily, not everything we must be instructed on before we do so. There are many things we can engage ourselves in the church that are very good and we must not be informed before we do them.

I learned that we should not go back to our former way of life (vomit), proverbs 26:11, states clearly that a fool returns to it vomits, only fools will go back to their former way of life, we need to remain focused when we come to the full knowledge of Christ and we come to repentance, we should not go back to doing evil and let’s make it as an obligation or we can vow that we will not do it again, because if we vow, we will definitely act towards it and the holy spirit will help us. If you are a womanizer, drunkard or you are thief, promise yourself and make a vow between you and God and mean it from your heart and never mingle or have anything in common with what makes you get into doing what is not right. Once you make a vow in the church or anywhere try to keep to your vow, is better not to vow if you know you won’t fulfill it than to vow and fail.

I learned that we can’t partake in the Lord’s table and still partake in that of the devil. We must go with one, is either we partake on the Lord’s table or the devil’s table. But it’s a call for us to choose light over darkness, we should choose good over evil, and God is good and the devil is evil, I came to understand from our teaching that both Christ and the devil are tables and you are to choose the one you want to follow. We are urged to partake from the Lord’s tables and never to look back.

The contribution we make in the church is not for Bro Eli to use it for personal consumption.I learned that we should give according to how we are convinced, is not compulsory to give, but the word of God teaches us that, the Lord loves a cheerful giver, give according to how you are convinced, and anything you give should be voluntary, make the decision of giving yourself, for you not to think that you’re being deceived in the church, but give according to how you’re blessed and make sure you are convinced. There are things that God must not command you to do, but you voluntarily do it. If there’s a project in the church, you must not be told before you do it, if you see someone that is in need in the church or you have and you want to support the less privileged or the orphan but you don’t know where to see them, you can as well bring it to the church of God, and the church will support them, because all this set of people are the church and some are in the street.

I also learned to offer sacrifice to the Lord and always call on His name, so we should give thanksgiving for God’s protection, some render thanksgiving or praise God only when they wrote exams and pass and some give thanksgiving for how God protects them from diverse accidents. We always need to give thanks to God, in every situation we should offer the sacrifices of praise to God continually. In everything we should give thanks to God for this is the will of God. In everything you face, give thanks to God, you are able to eat, and you're able to defecate, give thanks to God. offer thanksgiving to God for all, some are in the hospital going through diverse treatment, some are on oxygen.

you have and you don't want to give, you are not answerable to anyone in the Church, but you’re answerable to God. And when making a contribution, we should let our left hand knows what our right hand did. is supposed to be known between only you and God. no one is supposed to know about it. And by doing so, God will reward us publicly.
