23rd JANUARY, 2023. LIVE ZOOM MEETING MCGI CARES COMMUNITY.

Good day wonderful and excellent brethren of the MCGI cares community and Hive you are warmly welcome to my blog. My name is Olu Thomas and I will be sharing with us what I learned from today’s MCGI Meeting held on 23/01/2023.

***Lessons ***

Jesus was asked by His disciples which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”, the first command he gave the disciple is to love the Lord our God with all of our hearts and with all our souls and with all our minds, this is the first and greatest because if you have a love of God in you, you won’t go against his will, but rather you will strive to please and do His will and we will love to live in His righteousness. And the second commandment He told them is like it. Is like the first commandment, he commanded us to love our neighbor as ourselves, these two commandments cover up everything, if one can keep these two commandments, he is living God’s kind of life, it is the will of God for us to love Him and love our neighbors as we love ourselves.

There is no condition giving for us to love God and love our neighbor, we love God Both In good and bad times, not only when things are going well before we love God, but it is a command that we need to keep both in good and bad times, both in plentiful and in times of need. God commanded us to love our neighbors not because we want anything from God or from our Neighbors but because that is the kind of life God wants us to live. Some will help only if they can benefit or gain something from you but are not supposed to be so, we are to love unconditionally, and give without letting others know about it and your reward is from God.

We should bear each other’s burden, we should not harden our hearts if we see our neighbors suffering and we know we can help, not just someone close to us but we can send our support to the church in order for the church of God to reach out to the world.

We should care for ourselves and our health and be kind to one another.

We have many kind people that die early, that is the will of God for them, and even evil people die early too, why did kind or good people die prematurely, they are prepared for the final judgment, and no matter how long kind people will live they won’t change their heart of kindness, but the evil people or bad people live for a long period of time before they die, God is giving them another chance to make things right with Him or to amends their ways before He comes for them. Most of the reason why good people die early is the will of God and even if they are alive, they will not go astray, but the reason why bad people or evil stay for long, is because God is giving them the opportunity to come to the light and forsake their evil ways.
I also learned that the stars are also known as the sons of God, they also have a name. some of the angels in the bible are known as the stars and their names are Angel Michael and Gabriel.
