THANKS BE TO GOD FOR THE WONDERFUL PRIVILEGE AND OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND YESTERDAY'S BROTHERLY SERVICE PROGRAMME VIA ZOOM MEETING
HERE ARE THE LESSONS I LEARNT FROM IT
I PRAY YOU'RE BLESSED AS YOU READ
MORAL LESSONS
I Learned from the scripture according to the book of
That we should be doers of God's Word and not Hearers deceiving ourselves
I LEARNED that we should not repay evil for evil but do good
We should not do an eye for an eye, A tooth for a tooth
When a brother slaps us on one cheek we should turn the other to him
And if any man would want to charge us to court and take away our coat we should offer him our cloak also - Mathew 5:37-39
I LEARNED that we should not swear by Heaven because it is God's Throne or by Earth because it's his footstool or by Jerusalem - Mathew 5:34-35
I LEARNED that anyone who compels us to go a mile with him we should go two mile with him instead
I LEARNED that we shouldn't behave like unbelievers but like Christ
They love those who love them and do good to those who do good to them
But rather we should Love our Neighbours and friends as well as our Enemies by so we are fulfilling the law of God - Mathew 5:43
We should Love our Neighbours,Bless them that curse us do good to them that hate us and we should pray for them who despitefully use us and persecute us
When we do this we show that we are God's children and of our Father because it makes the sun to rise on both evil and good people and sends rain to both the just and the unjust - Mathew 5:45
CONCLUSION
• I Learned that if we only Love those who love us and bless those who bless us and do good to those who do good to us what then is our reward because even publicans and unbelievers do the same
• I Learned that we should be perfect just as our Heavenly father is perfect- Mathew 5:48
