Have a wonderful Sunday everyone in this community @asean.hive. Thank you for being the nice community I ever had. The response to all our posts with my comrades gave me enormous happiness. Thank you admin and moderator and of course the members. May God bless and more productive prosperity to our endeavor in this blockchain.

I would like to share with you my experienced last Friday while I was away from home and once again, we went to the sea, the Red Sea of Jizan Saudi Arabia.

I have been here million times but I never bought stuff for myself. I didn't want to talk to strangers but last Friday, I didn't like the food they bought for us. So I bought something for myself.

The vendors were talking outside the car and the yellow car was their little store like a mini restaurant where we can order what food we want. I just love the boiled corn kernel and the fancy pink Ice cream.

Taking the picture of the car outside decoration like a logo to his business.

I bought it for 4USD and satisfying taste with cheese on the top.

I bought corn because I was hungry but when I saw the pink ice cream in a cone, I got one and ate it before the corn kernel. So funny tummy. I licked the ice cream like an innocent child.

Look at the old woman, eating the cone of the ice cream. I remember when I was a child, how I wanted to eat cream when we went to the market but we had not enough money to buy it. I was craving and salivating with pain in my heart. That is why, lately, I satisfied eating it in front of people. My heart was like shouting that this was my long-time craving that made my heart cry because we didn't buy ice cream before.

Do you know that eating while walking or even drinking water while walking is one of my employer's prohibited things? They want me to sit down when eating or drinking water. It is not good etiquette to eat and drink while standing. You have noticed that during their meals, they are sitting down on the floor as a sign of giving respect to all the blessings and bounty which they are going to receive.

Another street vendor I found

I loved how the woman took herself to the seaside and sell many kinds of stuff. Look at the little tiny booth where she puts her product. I felt her because I am also here in this place for greener pasture. I ask myself, why many people are too lazy and we can do something that we earned. I stared at the woman covered her face with a niqab. I thought, she is not a Saudia but an ex-pat like me. I loved her moves selling in a place bare to sunlight exposure. The atmosphere on that day was not favorable. It was so humid and the sea produced no air and wave so we didn't feel the sea breeze.

So cute and full of stuff.

It was a street market that I found last Friday. I just imagine the people who did it during a pandemic. All the risks they face but because we need to earn. If I could teach them about crypto, I am so willing to do it.

I think the man who sells the boiled kernel corn and the woman in a mini makeship stall were couples. And so proud to that kind of people.

That's my funny Friday market adventure while enjoying my swimming, walking ang seashells picking. It happened feeling like having so beautiful and Sublime Sunday!

Thank you, @dswigle for your initiative. I love sharing a story when I found a unique market adventure. To @ace108 for your #beautifulsunday initiative and @coff33a #sublimeSunday initiative, I both thank you all three great people in hive. Have a nice day!

HIVE ON AND KEEP SAFE!

This is wonderful, Olivia! How beautiful that you got to go to the sea and enjoy that time there.

I did not see an old woman, but, a woman who is enjoying the pleasures of life. You are not even nearly old! Give it 30 or 40 years, then maybe you can say, I am getting older. :) I love picking up seashells, ice cream cones, and walking on the beach. I love satisfying cravings from childhood. Your employer is right, of course. I think that we should sit down when we eat or drink. I think it is because that is the time for conversation, relaxing, and enjoying the meal that is prepared. There is time enough to move about.

You had a wonderful time and I loved seeing the market they had. What made you know the woman was an expat? I am curious? Did you get to speak with her? I love the concept of #MarketFriday and how our cultures differ and then again, how much they are alike. Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages. Along with the fact of what is normal for where you live? these are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue.

I am always so happy to see you post in #MarketFriday! Thank you! Your participation adds a look at your world, so much different than mine. I hope you have a fabulous day! Hive on!!For anyone wanting to know what #MarketFriday is:

Rules of the Road

  1. Go to the market, or anywhere that you pay money for a service.
    Take pictures! Be creative!
  2. Tell us a little bit about the market or the event. What brought you there? What did you buy? How much did it cost?
  3. Post the picture(s) Of course, you should tell a little bit about the ones you post
  4. Use the MarketFriday Community Platform to post #hive-196308 (this is not required, but appreciated)
  5. Drop the link into the MarketFriday comment section so I can find it
  6. Following me and reblogging the post so more see it would be appreciated !! Not a rule, just appreciated, more vision for more views on your posts!
  7. You must put #MarketFriday by @dswigle somewhere on your post. If you don't and someone reads it, there is nothing to tie #MarketFriday to that post.
  8. Please only one post each week. Believe it not, I run out of voting power if you put in many more than that.

As always, please remember! #MarketFriday loves you!

Thank you so much for your beautiful words all the time. I want to post weekly fir market Friday but I am finding for a unique one that is not just common like going to the store ir grocery. The woman was a Yemeni, from Yemen. There is no Saudi national doing it on the street. No beggar doing it too and mostly they are from Yemen. Our province is the boundary of Yemen and Saudi. Some of them have no papers or just coming here from a secret back doors, moving from yemen mountain to Saudi mountain and came here. If the authority on the road catch them , they will be sent back where they belong. Good luck to those coming here legally, they can sell or do what I am doing too. Thank you so much!

!BEER CHEERS!

Thank you so much for such a sweet reply! I realized that the challenges difficult to do properly at this time so people have been putting in things that aren't really wanted so to speak but I am not fussing with anybody because it's challenging to do it properly. I you take yours whenever you have time or the opportunity to do one, but please don't worry about it because, that is the way life goes sometimes. Not always the way we don't but we all adjust. I'm so happy to see you and I am glad that your life is going well!

I feel like I recognize the yellow van from a previous post. Have you ever purchased a snack from this man before? The corn looks so fresh, we just bought some the other day, but it's hard to find here in Suriname. Is the corn in the cup just plain boiled corn, or is it sweetened like a dessert?
