MASS INDOCTRINATION DAY ELEVEN (11). 28TH OF MARCH 2022.

I thank God for another wonderful day in God's presence and for the teachings of the word of God.

Are all the good things we do commanded and instructed by God

I was taught that Paul's expectations in philomon is that we can do more than what we are told. Philomon 1:21. Everything must not be commanded. In the true church, the children of God are being led by the spirit of God, so not everything is instructed. Even in the law of man, there are certain things we do without waiting for instructions. As humans, We are meant to use our common sense. Isaiah 1:8, the bible says, if we are willing and obey God, We shall eat the good of the land. This means that God's rewards is good for those who are willing.

THE DOCTRINES IN WHICH WE DECIDES FOR OURSELVES

In the church of God, concerning contributions, the bible says in 2 Corinthians 9:7 that everyone should give according to their heart decision, not grudgingly or of necessities for God loves a cheerful giver. This has proven that God did not dictate for us on what we should give instead he left the decision for us to make. 2 Corinthians 8:3, saint Paul said that the Macedonia people gave according to their power, sometimes beyond their power but gave of their own Accord. They were not forced.
I also learnt that donations has no fix price but the giver decides of what to give. Offerings in the church should be voluntarily. Voluntarily we should approach the box not the box being brought to us. Tithing is no longer a commandment in our time. The commandment in our time is give according to your decision.

Another voluntarily act is Vow taking. I learnt that A vow is something we impose on ourselves not by force. According to the bible, saint Paul also made a vow. It is proved by the shaving of his head. In the church, we can make a vow not to sin again. As children of God, We were taught to make a vow and fulfill it. Ecclesiastes 5:4, We are advised to pay that which we have vowed. It is better we vow not than vowing without fulfilling. We can also make a vow if We need favour from God.

Offerings of Thanksgiving is another voluntarily act. Psalms 116:18, David offered thanksgiving as a vow before the people. We also decide on our own to offer the sacrifice of Thanksgiving.
In conclusion, I understand that I myself can decide on what to give and donate in the church. I also decide if to offer thanksgiving or not.

We are inviting you to join the MCGI Cares (Hive) community that study the words of God and also earn some reward by making our reactions on it. We can check this link https://peakd.com/c/hive-182074/trending

Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.

MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.

II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
