Bible exposition of 9th January 2022.

More thanks to God almighty for making me part of this study. In today's teaching, charge was given to us by brother Eli. He encouraged us to have the love of God in our hearts. Stating that men now love themselves rather than God. For this reason, evil has taken over the world. Much killings, stealing, greed and so on. In the process, a question was raised.

WHO IS THE FOUNDER OF THE CHURCH OF GOD.
Today, I learnt that the church of God does not have any human founder. It is founded by God himself. No Man has the capacity to found a church. Speaking from the book of Psalms 127:1 except the lord builds a house, whoever is building is doing that in vain. Most churches built by men are not adhereing to God's word. Such as the worship of idol like stones, gold and silver. We are encouraged today, to obey God's word by worshipping in the church founded by him.

Question 2: Do we need baptism and confirmation if we are coming from another church. Hebrew 5:13. If you are using milk, that means you are a babe and for this reason, you are unskillful in the word of righteousness. You can't be baptized when you are not able to answer for yourself. One need to grow up, accept God and Also study the word of God before going into baptism. Confirmation is not in the bible. When you have already accepted Christ what is there to confirm. What matters is doing the right thing and Living a holy life.

Question 3: What is the best reason to break a relationship that is wrong. The moment you notice that you are into a wrong relationship, then you need to break it. But there are other things to put into consideration. That is if you have responsibilities. When children are involved. The bible speaking in the book of 1 Timothy 5:8. Any man that cannot provide for his house is worse than an infidel. So One need to take care of there responsibilities. Today I learnt that we should only worship at the church founded by God himself. Also confirmation is not mentioned in the bible. So let's not be deceived. May God help us all strictly follow that which is in the bible.
