BLURT- WTF?

avatar

BLURT??

What kind of name is this?

Just for fun, I entered: add new coin on my Blackfolio.

To my surprise, the coin actually showed up with a name and logo. Visited my Blurt wallet in which I initiated power down. I don't even remember when.

Lo and behold!

17k of coins were sitting there.

Photo is just a random click bite, but It's my own Work.

Put the number in and voila:

Funny money raining from the sky.

Again!

Blockfolio says 500 CAD.

On my day off. Common?

How awesome is that?

Keep forking. I'll be rich

BLURT happened sometime in July. No sure about that fork though, but cool to have some additional coins :) Recently BLURT got pumped on HIVE Engine, yes, its there as well... Not sure how to transfer BLURT to HIVE engine though. Dont see BLURT in eg swap.app. But hey, the logo is sooooo bad. As the name itself, I must add. Checked the blog recently, and see a lot users who post their content at almost all crypto social networks in the market, mainly those who drop and dont bother to interact too much. Ah well, they should do whatever they want to do :)

If you look at the users on Blurt, you see the same type.
I can help you sell your blurt on hive engine if you like.
About the logo, when I look at it, it reminds me of someone who's mouth is taped and can't speak.

Thanks for you offer to support...

Not looking in selling at the moment; Guess the BLURT launchers and whales will want to see a higher price, so they'll pump it up further at some point in time; Thats what I'm banking on. But yea, would be good to understand how to get Blurt from the Blurt wallet to HIVE engine.

D*rn: just checked the HOT and TRENDING channels, many posts with 500 to 700 BLURT without a comment. Drop and Run network! That said: 700 BLURT = 14$ or something? Maybe I shall play the Drop and Run game as well pffff

I'm not feeling well right now,but tomorrow I'm going to send you the details about selling blurt. You could place some selling orders at a price you prefer if you don't want to sell now. I don't see a bright future ahead of that chain, if I look at the active userbase.

Here I am with instructions 😁
So you go to your Blurt wallet, and next to your liquid blurt, there's an arrow. Click that and pick Transfer.

image.png

You get this pop up window. So basically you transfer your liquid to blurtlink, mention your account name (this is very important!!!), and you transfer your liquid to Hive Engine. Then on Hive Engine you place the sell order.
Let me know if you need further help.

Ignoring all the COVID stuff, and the lockdown we are in again; Am definitely enjoying Amsterdam. Since a few weeks, am taking quite a lot of long walks through the city and parks we have around the corner and enjoying very much the autumn weather. I even made quite a few photographs of this beauty I'm seeing. Didnt spend the time yet to gp through them and share some of them on HIVE. I always love the time when the leaves come down, so beautiful to see in a city, before the cleaners take them away from the streets; As if nature is taking over the brick and glass city :)

Oh, I forgot, don't transfer all your liquids as there's a small fee, something like 0.2 or so.

Blurt ask for everything a small fee, noticed that already :)

I actually staked mine and delegated it to BROfund for curating.

Figured it might be a flyer to see what can come about. Sometimes we need lottery tickets.

Yes, who knows. I fancied a few thousand more HIVE but sitting on it and trading today (or delegating as you did) was the better option I think.

I was also turned off that it was a pain in the ass to sell.

Hopefully they will get a bit more attention and make it easier to sell.

For now, we will see how it goes.

On the brighter side though, they have got some pretty decent listing too but then it's all about if you're deciding to keep it or sell it. I'm selling mine

Blurt is more profitable than Hive and Steem now :)

LOL. Yes we certainly have the ability to print money like the central banks. It takes a bit more effort but it can be done fairly simply.

Of course, the value is not always there but, hey, pocket it when you can.

It's easy to hate on Blurt. Yes, the name is funny and I can't stand the logo either but I decided to buy of bunch of cheap Blurt tokens anyway, waiting for a pump or two. It's gonna happen as the coin will be accepted on exchanges over time ( listings can and will be bought ).

I plan to sell slowly over time and hope to be able to buy Hive / LEO and possibly ETH and BTC with the profits.

A terrible name, with an even worse logo and no true use case that HIVE doesn't already do.

Dump it.

Anyone can tell me - What is a good way to get rid (sell) that BLURT ? Found IONOMY and STEX - both seem to have ZERO liquidity
Maybe some blurt fans read here, & would like to trade? Give me a PM

Ionomy worked pretty well for me. Of course I used to sell in small chunks and probably at lower prices

I switched off my bots from Blurt because activity and engagement were low. I know that they're working on these things and they have a few smart people involved. I call them a maybe - am waiting and seeing.
TBH this isn't a race to be the technically best social media blockchain. There are already a number of good-enough options so it comes down to which chains can build sustainable communities and build viable economies around that.

I occasionally post over there, more or less for fun.

It's basically "free money," right?

The thing is, the people trying to steer that ship are working to get some larger exchange listings... which (if you remember early Steem) is likely to result in some nice pumps. So I'm just biding my time, for now...

=^..^=

I know, right? Blurt. I laughed and then threw up a post to see what would happen. It got voted on and now I am sitting with cash in the account, with an airdrop also.

Free money? When is the last time that happened?

Oh, right. Hive...
