Mushroom Monday - The shaggy ink cap

Hello, fungi lovers.

Today is Monday and I'll share with you a few photos of recent findings. Coprinus comatus or shaggy ink cap mushroom is regular species in this area. This type of mushroom is common for this area and can be found popping out from the sand next to the fishing pond. They usually grow in groups and mature in a few days. They are most common during the fall but sometimes appear in the spring.
