So hello very good evening to all of you today I am going to share the Indian wedding culture with all of you it was not anyone's wedding at my house so I did not be able to capture photos of all the events which were going through indian marriage function but I am going to share the whole process with you which happens in Indian marriage culture

There are many Pre wedding functions and wedding functions presented in the culture of Indian wedding which I am going to share with all of you


Engagement

  • Through the engagement it is is officially announced that both the person who were presented at the time of engagement is going to married soon on some places of India the process of engagement is also known as roka ceremony. On this day a priest who is popularly known as Pandit set an auspicious date for the engagement ceremony

Haldi

  • this is the first event which happens after the engagement ceremony in this event a mixture of turmeric powder oil and water is rubbed on the skin of bride and groom and this is done by only married men or women of both the sides both the side

Mehandi

  • during this Mehndi event beautiful mehndi is applied on the brides hands, feets and legs this event is also known as the event of sangeet

Barat

  • Barat is one of the most important event during any Indian marriage on this precious day the groom makes his ways to the bride's house with his full family and friends and this is the use event which happens during Indian marriage it contain a lot of things like singing dancing food and many other things the bridal house is decorated very well with flowers and other decorative materials to welcome the groom who is coming with his family and friends

Varmala

  • beautiful Mandap is setup on the location of wedding ceremony going on and the bride and the groom used to exchange garlands and while you're reading this section it seems very simple to you but it includes some not easy tricks and other games which were played by friends and family during the exchange of garlands

Kanyadaan

  • this is also one of the main event of Indian wedding culture because a Puja is started where the groom side person give a mangalsutra into the girl and girls father accept the Union and place his daughter hands in the hands of groom and this is one of the emotional moment of the event

Phere

  • the bridal dupatta is tied up up to the scarf weared by the groom and this process is known as Gathbandhan then after the Gathbandhan the couple has to take 7 rounds of the Havan Kund with seven Oaths or promisses to protect their self or their relation from the bad things

Sindoor

  • and after the fair the couple is blessed by the blessings of their parents and the groom used to apply sindoor of the bridals hair Centre part I do not know the exact name of of the place where the Sindoor is applied so I apologize for that and after the the groom applied sindoor on the bridal he makes her wear the mangalsutra

vidai

  • it is the the time when the bridal apart from her family going to the place of her husband this is the most emotional time specially for every woman's who you faced this earlier in their life because it is very difficult for anyone to apart from their family with whom they used to live from their childhood and go in a new place and again understand the environment of the new place where you went with your husband

Grihpravesh

  • once the girl reach to their new home with her husband aarti is performed for welcoming the new bridal and many rituals performed by the the members of the family in this whole process is known as Griha Pravesh in our India it believes that girl aur women is a face of Goddess Lakshmi so for welcoming the God Aarti is performed

And at last I shared some of the pictures which work captured by me while I was enjoying the marriage function in one of the picture I am also presented in front of the decoration and you will take a look on the food items presented in that function thanks a lot for giving your time to this post and I hope you like the tradition of Indian wedding
