A PIECE FROM HEAVEN, HAYITBÜKÜ

Hello everyone. Today, I would like to share with you a few photos we took in Hayıtbükü bay, located in the Datça district of Muğla province, and tell you a little bit about Hayıtbükü.

Herkese merhabalar. Bugün sizlerle geçtiğimiz yaz aylarında Muğla ilinin Datça ilçesinde bulunan Hayıtbükü koyunda çektiğimiz birkaç fotoğrafı paylaşmak ve Hayıtbükü’nü size biraz anlatmak istiyorum.

When we went to Muğla for a short holiday for a few days in the past years, we planned a one-day visit to the Datça district, which we have never been to but always wondered about. Before planning, we got some information from the people who lived there. We noticed that even the local people's eyes shine when they talk about Datça and the bays there. However, we were able to make a short visit to Datça, which intimidates anyone who wants to go because of the difficulty of transportation due to the geography of the region, and see a little, albeit for a few hours. We visited all the bays one by one and caught sight of Hayıtbükü Bay, which is located in the Mesudiye region and is the calmest bay here. And last summer, we planned a vacation with my brother @veliozdemiroglu, my brother's wife @ozgeoz, my wife @helindrn and our little girl Doğa.

Geçtiğimiz yıllarda Muğla’ya birkaç günlüğüne kısa bir tatil için gittiğimizde hiç gidemediğimiz ama hep merak ettiğimiz Datça ilçesine günübirlik bir ziyaret planladık. Planlamadan önce orada yaşayanlardan biraz bilgi aldık. Yöre halkının bile Datça ve orada bulunan koylardan bahsederken gözlerinin parladığını fark ettik. Ancak bölge coğrafyası yüzünden ulaşımın zor olması sebebiyle gitmek isteyen herkesin gözünü korkutan Datça’ya kısa bir ziyaret yapıp birkaç saatliğine de olsa biraz gezip görebildik. Bütün koylarını tek tek gezip Mesudiye bölgesinde bulunan ve buradaki en sakin koy olan Hayıtbükü Koyu’nu gözümüze kestirdik. Ve geçtiğimiz yaz kardeşim @veliozdemiroglu, kardeşimin eşi @ozgeoz, eşim @helindrn ve küçük kızımız Doğa ile birlikte bir tatil planlayarak burada tatil yapıp dinlenme imkanı bulduk.

I want to talk briefly. Hayıtbükü is one of the three beautiful bays of the Mesudiye Region with its perfect view and nature, 19 km from the center of Datça. I said the road is tough, but be sure, the sights you will see on your way will make you fall in love with it before you even start your vacation. Hayıtbükü Bay is closed to the winds and surrounded by mountains in the shape of a bowl. For this reason, the sea water temperature is higher than other bays. Families with children usually prefer this place because the beach is sandy, it does not get deep suddenly and the sea water is warm.

Kısaca bahsetmek istiyorum. Hayıtbükü mükemmel manzarası ve doğayısla Mesudiye Bölgesinin üç güzel koyundan biri, Datça merkeze 19 km uzaklıkta. Yol zorlu demiştim ama emin olun giderken göreceğiniz manzaralar daha tatile başlamadan sizi oraya aşık edecek. Hayıtbükü Koyu rüzgarlara kapalı, çanak şeklinde etrafı dağlarla çevrilidir. Bu sebeple deniz suyu sıcaklığı diğer koylara göre daha yüksek. Zaten sahilinin kum olması, birden derinleşmemesi ve deniz suyu sıcak olduğu için çocuklu aileler genellikle burayı tercih ediyor.

There are many accommodation facilities in and around the bay, such as restaurants, tea gardens and so on. You can stay in bungalow houses and pensions in the region. Most of the businesses you can stay in are run by the locals. I mean, almost all of them are family businesses. The products grown in the Mesudiye plain are used in the facilities, restaurants. The operators are very friendly and approachable. You can make friends with the tourists staying in the region very quickly. In short, a very friendly environment.

Koy içerisinde ve çevresinde lokantalar, çay bahçeleri ve gibi birçok konaklama tesisi bulunuyor. Bölgede bulunan bungalow evlerde ve pansiyonlarda konaklayabilirsiniz. Konaklayabileceğiniz işletmelerin çoğunun bölge halkı işletiyor. Yani neredeyse hepsi aile işletmesi diyebilirim. Tesislerde, lokantalarda, Mesudiye ovasında yetişen ürünler kullanılıyor. İşletmeciler çok güleryüzlü ve cana yakın. Bölgede konaklayan turistlerle çok çabuk kaynaşıp dostluk kurabiliyorsunuz. Kısacası çok samimi bir ortam.

We loved Hayıtbükü Bay so much that I realized lately that we hardly took any photos. And I immediately took a few photos. Today I am sharing some of those photos with you. I hope you like it too.
