Recent Series: The Warrior Nun.

Welcome to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. This week's prompt made me reminisce about how I was a movie freak in those days. While growing up, you could use movies, especially action movies, to catch me whenever you wanted; I might even see it's a trap and still go in

School and adulthood changed all of that. Right now, I can go weeks and even months without even knowing about the recent movie that was released. In those days, I was like a movie plug for friends. Friends come to me to get movies, and I never disappoint them. I dedicate most of my time to seeing interesting movies.

This week, I was able to watch a series. Friends talked about the series so much and how it was very interesting. I will be starting exams in less than two days. I got tired of reading and decided to use this series to cool off, and I did not regret doing so.

The series debuted in July 2020, but I never heard anything about it until last week. It was directed by Denis Rivora and created by Simon Barry. The movie was created based on the comic character The Warrior Nun Areala. I would have missed out on such an interesting series due to my inactivity in the movie world.

The genres of the movie are superhero, occult detective, and supernatural.

The movie is focused on Ava, who was a cripple. Her dad left her with her mom, who single-handedly raised her until Ava lost her mom in a ghastly accident and found herself in a Catholic orphanage. Since Ava was a cripple, it was required of the nuns to do everything for her. Her roommate, Diego, was her only friend and supporter, as she hardly left the room because of her condition.

The nun hated Ava for the stress she put her through and decided to put her out of her misery by injecting her with something that killed her. I took her to the mortuary and told the mortuary attendant to leave the cause of death blank. A warrior nun who carries an angel's halo was brought in injured. The halo is very powerful and can turn one who possesses it into someone with superpowers. It can heal and do a lot of things, but it cannot do all of this if it comes into contact with divinium.
