Sí, silencio

A donde sea que vayamos
el silencio nos guía
a donde vamos.
Somos sus palabras
convertidas en elipsis,
soberbias, esparcidas,
desgranadas al mundo
entre vida y muerte.
Somos las preguntas
que vagan en la noche,
en las perfectas tinieblas.
Dando vueltas en círculos
a la velocidad del cosmos
somos la incógnita que solo
el silencio puede responder.
Como el gran árbol
que copa su copa en la tierra
y brinda extendiendo
sus ramas en el cielo
Dios es el silencio
llegando hasta nosotros
como blanca Beatriz
a través del tiempo
de sal y polvo
que entra al rostro
y hace mutis por el alma.

Wherever we go
silence guides us
where we go.
We are its words
turned into ellipses,
superb, scattered,
threshed to the world
between life and death.
We are the questions
that wander in the night,
in the perfect darkness.
Going around in circles
at the speed of the cosmos
we are the unknown that only
silence can answer.
Like the great tree
that tops its crown on the earth
and toasts extending
its branches in the sky
God is silence
reaching out to us
like white Beatrice
through time
of salt and dust
that enters the face
and makes mutism for the soul.
Silence speak more louder than words, a poem which explains what silence can do while the mind leading it way in good places.
