Mi primer mes en Hive // My first month at Hive
Hola amigos de HIVE, mi nombre es Omar y hoy quiero hablarles sobre mi experiencia en estos primeros 30 días en esta plataforma. Quiero saludar a toda la comunidad de @aliento, el día de hoy decidí hacer este post en esta comunidad ya que fue aquí donde inicié mis primeros pasos en hive. Gracias a ustedes he aprendido muchísimo sobre hive y el contenido que acá se publica. De igual manera siempre han estado atentos a responder cualquier inquietud en el servidor de discord.
Hello friends of HIVE, my name is Omar and today I want to talk about my experience in these first 30 days on this platform. I want to greet the entire community of @aliento, today I decided to make this post in this community because it was here where I started my first steps in hive. Thanks to you I have learned a lot about hive and the content that is published here. In the same way you have always been attentive to answer any questions on the discord server.
Todo este proceso empezó gracias a mi mejor amiga @rosmarly, nos conocemos desde muy pequeños y ya casi llegamos a los 12 años de amistad. Ella ha sido un gran apoyo en momentos muy difíciles y la única persona que tenía cerca durante mi etapa universitaria, así que son muchas las anécdotas y momentos bonitos que hemos compartido. Ella me empezó a decir que se había unido a una plataforma donde podía contar sus experiencias e historias de vida y recibir una remuneración por eso. Para serles sinceros no le creí.
This whole process began thanks to my best friend @rosmarly, we have known each other since we were very young and we have been friends for almost 12 years. She has been a great support in very difficult times and the only person I had close during my college years, so there are many anecdotes and beautiful moments we have shared. She started telling me that she had joined a platform where she could tell her experiences and life stories and get paid for it. To be honest, I didn't believe her.
Ella siguió insistiendo, me contó sobre lo que escribía y las comunidades que existían. Como ella juega ajedrez logró entrar a una comunidad sobre deportes y ahí contar su experiencia como deportista. Me enviaba los artículos que ella hacía para que yo los leyera y diera mi opinión. La verdad quedaba impresionado por sus artículos y lo que ahí decía. Pero yo aún seguía sin entender que era hive y mucho menos podía creer que me pagaran por eso. Además sentía que todo iba a ser muy difícil para mí porque debido a un robo que sufrimos en mi casa quedamos sin computadora y sin wifi, esto me frenaba, sentía que no iba a poder escribir los artículos. Luego entendí que lo podía hacer desde mi teléfono sin ningún problema.
She kept insisting, she told me about what she was writing and the communities that existed. As she plays chess she managed to enter a community about sports and there tell her experience as an athlete. She would send me the articles she wrote for me to read and give my opinion. I was really impressed by her articles and what she said there. But I still didn't understand what hive was and I couldn't believe that I was being paid for it. I also felt that everything was going to be very difficult for me because due to a robbery that we suffered in my house we had no computer and no wifi, this slowed me down, I felt that I would not be able to write the articles. Then I understood that I could do it from my phone without any problem.
Luego de pensarlo bien tomé la decisión de ser parte de Hive, así que traté de registrarme y fue muy complicado, las opciones no estaban disponibles y no podía hacer el registro. Por un momento esto me desmotivo mucho, pensé que no iba a poder, pero insistí y luego de mucho intentarlo pude registrarme por Peakd. Ya había dado el primer paso y el más importante pero aún no sabía nada sobre hive ni cómo usarla. Mi amiga me iba dando instrucciones por whatsapp y yo trataba de seguirlas paso a paso desde mi teléfono.
After thinking about it I decided to be part of Hive, so I tried to register and it was very complicated, the options were not available and I could not register. For a moment this discouraged me a lot, I thought I was not going to be able to, but I insisted and after a lot of trying I was able to register through Peakd. I had already taken the first and most important step but I still didn't know anything about hive or how to use it. My friend was giving me instructions by whatsapp and I was trying to follow them step by step from my phone.
Vi que tenía que crearme un perfil, cambié las fotos como 4 veces y coloqué mis datos y una pequeña biografía. Como era la primera vez que entraba quería ver las comunidades y el contenido que ahí publicaban. Es así como entré a @aliento y empecé a leer los contenidos, seguí a muchas personas, comenté y hasta vote varias publicaciones sin saber que existían los Hp y los recursos. Cuando quise publicar mi primer post no tenía recursos y por ende no lo podía subir. Es ahí cuando descargue discord y pedí ayuda a la comunidad de aliento y me delegaron hp para que pudiera hacer mi contenido, además como era nuevo me dieron muchos consejos y eso me motivó mucho.
I saw that I had to create a profile, I changed the photos about 4 times and put my data and a small biography. As it was the first time I entered I wanted to see the communities and the content they published there. That's how I entered @aliento and started reading the content, I followed many people, commented and even voted several publications without knowing that Hp and resources existed. When I wanted to publish my first post I had no resources and therefore could not upload it. That's when I downloaded discord and asked for help to the encouragement community and they delegated me hp so I could make my content, also as I was new they gave me a lot of advice and that motivated me a lot.
Ya lo tenía todo, ahora me faltaba hacer mi primera publicación. No sabía de que hablar ni que decir. Todos me recomendaron hacer una introducción hablando un poco sobre mi vida y lo que hacía. No fue tan fácil escribir ese post, no sabía si lo estaba haciéndo bien o si realmente les iba a interesar lo que estaba escribiendo, pero quise ser real y hacer un resumen de mi vida para que me conocieran de verdad. Subí el post y tuve mucha receptividad, me votaron y comentaron muchas personas, eso me alegro mucho y fue la recompensa por escribir un post sincero sobre mi vida. Ya me sentía miembro de Hive.
I had everything, now I had to make my first publication. I didn't know what to talk about or what to say. Everyone recommended me to make an introduction talking a little bit about my life and what I was doing. It wasn't so easy to write that post, I didn't know if I was doing it right or if they would really be interested in what I was writing, but I wanted to be real and make a summary of my life so they would really know me. I uploaded the post and I had a lot of receptivity, I got a lot of votes and comments, I was very happy about that and it was the reward for writing a sincere post about my life. I already felt like a member of Hive.
Poco a poco fui entendiendo como hacer contenido para cada comunidad y también agarrando confianza para publicar mis post. Luego de mi introducción publiqué otro post pero este casi no obtuvo votación y me sentí triste pero entendí que no siempre mis post iban a ser votados. A los días volví a públicar un post y este tampoco tuvo votación. Me sentía desmotivado y algo frustrado, hasta pensé en dejar de escribir. Pero entendí que lo importante era ser perseverante y seguir intentandolo. Para tener éxito tenía que tener paciencia y trabajar día a día para seguir creando contenido. Empecé a leer posts sobre cómo debía hacer mis artículos y que etiquetas debía utilizar para cada comunidad, todo esto me sirvió mucho para mis siguientes posts. Por ahora estoy lejos de ser un experto en esto, pero lo bonito de Hive es que día a día aprendes algo nuevo y esto te ayuda a mejorar.
Little by little I was understanding how to make content for each community and also gaining confidence to publish my posts. After my introduction I published another post but this one almost didn't get a vote and I felt sad but I understood that my posts were not always going to be voted. A few days later I published another post and this one didn't get a vote either. I felt demotivated and a bit frustrated, I even thought about stopping writing. But I understood that the important thing was to be perseverant and keep trying. To be successful I had to be patient and work every day to keep creating content. I started to read posts about how I should make my articles and what tags I should use for each community, all this helped me a lot for my next posts. By now I am far from being an expert in this, but the nice thing about Hive is that every day you learn something new and this helps you to improve.
Apenas es mi primer mes, siento que me ha ido bien. Hive me ha dado la oportunidad de tener una plataforma donde puedo expresarme, contar experiencias y conocer muchas personas. Todo ha sido una retroalimentación. Lo más importante no es si tu contenido es muy votado o no. Lo importante es que puedas dar tu mensaje y puedas ayudar a otros. Si mis post pueden ayudar a otras personas y que quizás no se sientan tan solas, entonces ya yo me daría por recompensado.
It's only my first month, I feel that I have done well. Hive has given me the opportunity to have a platform where I can express myself, tell experiences and meet many people. Everything has been a feedback. The most important thing is not whether your content is highly rated or not. The important thing is that you can give your message and you can help others. If my posts can help other people and maybe they don't feel so lonely, then I would feel rewarded.
Gracias a todos, a los que han leído mis posts y se han tomado el tiempo de comentarme y dejarme sus recomendaciones, a todos los que me han ayudado y aclarado mis dudas. Cada día me esfuerzo en ser mejor porque cada día veo contenidos de mucha calidad y quiero estar a la altura. Espero este sea el primero de muchos meses en Hive. Uno de mis propósitos de año nuevo es seguir en esta plataforma junto a ustedes. Espero hayan tenido una feliz navidad y que tengan un feliz año nuevo. Gracias a todos.
