Hola amigos de hive🫂 que bueno saludarlos y leernos de nuevo por acá. Hoy les estaré contando sobre la celebración de cumpleaños de mi prima y una bonita noche que compartimos en familia en la ciudad de Maturin, estado Monagas, Venezuela.

Hace mas de 3 años que no venía a Maturin, una de mis ciudades favoritas, ya que atesoro momentos increíbles y personas que han sido parte importante en mi vida, además de que tengo muchos familiares que siempe han sido un gran apoyo. La verdad no entiendo como pase 3 años sin venir, pero diferentes situaciones y la pandemia no me permitieron viajar con mas frecuencia como lo hacía antes. Se presento una buena oportunidad para viajar y no la podía desaprovechar. Mi prima Kateryd la cual es la cumpleañera de la que les hablo en este post, iba a viajar a Maturin y me ofrecio irme con ella, asi que no perdí la oportunidad, hice mis maletas, reagende las consultas y me fuí de viaje. Fue la mejor decisión que pude tomar. Además necesitaba un respiro en medio de tanto trabajo y situaciones diarias.

El viaje a Maturin, fue complicado, llovió muchísimo durante todo el camino, pero afortunadamente todo salió bien. Al llegar a la ciudad, la vi diferente, mejorada, pero aún con sus carencias. El reencontrarme con mi familia fue lo mejor, los extrañaba muchísimo y estar con ellos era algo que no tenía precio. Ése dia que llegamos, era el cumpleaños de mi prima kateryd asi que en la noche teniamos que hacer algo para festejar. Yo me fui a casa de otra prima, quien además es mi comadre ya que soy padrino de bautizo de su hijo José Jesús. Al llegar la noche nos bañamos y nos arreglamos para ir a celebrar el cumpleaños de mi prima.

La celebración iba a ser en un restaurante tipo familiar y al aire libre, por casualidades de la vida, el restaurante estaba festejando su tercer aniversario, asi que habia música en vivo y un ambiente muy bonito. Fuimos todos juntos como familia y compartimos un rato muy bueno. Pedimos unas tradicionales cervezamos y brindamos por la familia, por la unión y por la vida. Al momento de cenar, pedí de entrada un carpaccio el cual estaba muy bueno. Como plato principal decidí pizza, ya que me dijeron que eran muy buenas y la verdad si estaba muy rica. La comida y la atención fue excelente, ademas que el ambiente y la musica estaba genial. Pasamos horas coreando canciones y bailando.

Para finalizar la noche y aprovechando los cantantes en vivo decidimos cantar cumpleaños. Siento que ese momento fue muy emotivo, ya que mi prima kateryd en unas semana se va del país, asi que era su último cumpleaños con todos juntos acá en Venezuela, fue inevitable no botar unas lagrimitas. Pero a la vez fue un momento muy feliz y que quedará en nuestra memoria por siempre. Luego de cantar cumpleaños nos fuimos a casa de una de mis tías y repartimos el pastel que estaba muy rico. Nos quedamos a compartir un rato más, echando cuentos y chistes, reviviendo tantos momentos y creando nuevos recuerdos.

Al final nos fuimos a casa a dormir. Siento que necesitaba un momento asi con mi familia y despejar la mente un poco. Estoy agradecido con Dios y la vida por tenerlos a mi lado. Mi viaje en Maturin continúa y tengo muchas más cosas que contarles así que pronto estaré subiendo nuevos post.

Nunca pierdan la oportunidad de celebrar la vida, de dar gracias por la familia y estar juntos. Nunca sabemos cuándo será la ultima vez. ❤️

Hello friends of hive🫂 how nice to greet you and read us again here. Today I will be telling you about my cousin's birthday celebration and a nice night we shared with family in the city of Maturin, Monagas state, Venezuela.

It's been more than 3 years since I last came to Maturin, one of my favorite cities, since I treasure incredible moments and people who have been an important part of my life, plus I have many relatives who have always been a great support. I really don't understand how I spent 3 years without coming, but different situations and the pandemic did not allow me to travel more frequently as I did before. A good opportunity to travel presented itself and I couldn't miss it. My cousin Kateryd, who is the birthday girl I am talking about in this post, was going to travel to Maturin and she offered me to go with her, so I didn't miss the opportunity, I packed my bags, rescheduled my appointments and went on my trip. It was the best decision I could make. Besides, I needed a break in the middle of so much work and daily situations.

The trip to Maturin was complicated, it rained a lot all the way, but fortunately everything went well. When I arrived in the city, I saw it different, improved, but still with its shortcomings. Meeting my family again was the best, I missed them a lot and being with them was priceless. That day we arrived, it was my cousin Kateryd's birthday, so that night we had to do something to celebrate. I went to another cousin's house, who is also my comadre since I am the godfather of her son Jose Jesus' baptism. In the evening we showered and got ready to go celebrate my cousin's birthday.

The celebration was going to be in a family type restaurant and outdoors, by coincidence of life, the restaurant was celebrating its third anniversary, so there was live music and a very nice atmosphere. We all went together as a family and shared a great time. We ordered some traditional beers and toasted to family, togetherness and life. At dinner time, I ordered a carpaccio as a starter, which was very good. As a main course I decided to have pizza, as I was told that they were very good and the truth is that it was very tasty. The food and the service was excellent, plus the atmosphere and the music was great. We spent hours chanting songs and dancing.

To end the night and taking advantage of the live singers we decided to sing birthdays. I feel that this moment was very emotional, since my cousin Kateryd is leaving the country in a few weeks, so it was her last birthday with all of us together here in Venezuela, it was inevitable not to shed a few tears. But once was a very happy time and we will stay in our memory forever. Then singing birthday we went home to a house of my aunts and we shared the cake that was very rich. We were left to share a while longer, casting and jokes, reviving so many moments and creating new memories.

In the end we went home to sleep. I feel I needed a moment like this with my family and to clear my mind a little. I am grateful to God and life for having them by my side. My trip in Maturin continues and I have many more things to tell you so I will be uploading new posts soon.
