My cleaning activities day 113....13/01/2024
I've been very busy lately which has made me not to get the amount of sleep my body requires. Sometimes I do look for ways to get a quality sleep of 8hours in fur hours. I know it's impossible but well, it's just an imagination.
Speaking of sleep, let's talk about sleep in this post.
Do you know that the body requires at least 8 hours of sleep for an adult?
Do you know that you can sleep for 10hours and still feel exhausted when you wake?
You want to know why? Then stick to this post.
Sleep can be divided into 2.
Quality sleep and quantity sleep.
Quality sleep involves deep sleep, where your brain shuts down to reset, your muscles relaxes, your lungs relaxes (not completely cause it has to breathe.. hehe) your heart also relaxes (also not completely because it has to circulate oxygen to avoid ischemia of pyrexia).
Quantity sleep on the other hand is the opposite of quality sleep. You're asleep but your body is not relaxed, your brain is still thinking subconsciously which may bring about nightmares. In quantity sleep, you don't get enough quality even though you sleep for hours. This can be due to over activeness of the mind, trauma, insomnia e.t.c
Sleep has many advantages ranging from giving you an organized day to aiding good body metabolism.
It is importance for you to have a stable time which you will leave everything you're doing to sleep, and a stable time for you to wake up. This is to avoid changes in the circadian rhythm.

You are right dear, we deserve a quality sleep. But even if we can't have 8 hours sleep, the few hours deep sleep is something we don't need to joke with
