Durante el otoño de 1615, un pequeño país llamado en 1492 como tierra de gracia por un inmigrante y cuyas enormes riquezas estaba al borde del abismo de quiebra, sus habitantes cada vez más empobrecidos y con posiciones diametralmente opuestas decidió que el mejor camino para encontrar las soluciones a sus problemas era realizar unas elecciones.

Para lograr este acuerdo tuvieron que ir a visitar el templo de Quetzalcóatl gran dios de los aztecas allá y después de degustar unas ricas tazas de chocolate (chocolate) firmaron el acuerdo para comenzar la batalla electoral.

Así de esta manera rojos, blancos, amarillos y azules se dispusieron a seleccionar a sus mejores guerreros para que a través de la política dirimir sus diferencias y presentar al pueblo sus propuestas y posibles soluciones para los graves problemas que afrontan.

Esto comenzó a despertar la esperanza de que el soñado cambio fuera posible y realizable. Muchos nobles, caballeros y siervos comenzaron a desempolvar sus viejas armas, lustrar sus monturas y prepararse para esta nueva Cruzada que se avecina el 21 de noviembre.

¿Quién debe ir al frente de los ejércitos de los electores del pueblo?, fue una pregunta que retumbo en los pasillos de muchos palacios. Al no estar la mesa redonda y su famosa forma de impartir justicia lo que parecía un poderoso ejército empezó a desmembrarse por tantos caudillos.

Así un buen día un elector acompañado de su buen amigo visito el municipio del Toboso para ver cómo iba el proceso en tan importante ciudad.

—Hallemos (...) el alcázar —replicó don Quijote— (...) Y advierte, Sancho, o que yo veo poco o que aquel bulto grande y sombra que desde aquí se descubre la debe de hacer el palacio Municipal.

Guió don Quijote, y habiendo andado como doscientos pasos, dio con el bulto que hacía la sombra, y vio una gran torre, y luego conoció que tal edificio no era el palacio Municipal, sino las múltiples candidaturas al principal poder del pueblo. Y dijo:

—Con el ego hemos dado, Sancho.

—Ya lo veo —respondió Sancho—, y plegá a Dios que no demos con nuestra sepultura, que no es buena señal andar por los cementerios a tales horas, y más habiendo yo dicho a vuestra merced, si mal no me acuerdo, que la división nos llevará a una callejuela sin salida.

Don quijote y su pana sancho, quienes habían iniciado una cruzada para entusiasmar a todos los habitantes del reino a votar masivamente este 21 se habían topado con un obstáculo insuperable, el Ego de los señores feudales y sus candidatos. Aunque ya no veneramos al dios Sol muchos políticos aún creen que el sol gira alrededor de ellos.

El ego ha obnubilado la mente de muchos que por creer que el adversario presenta una leve señal de debilidad se puede ganar con cualquiera. El ego los lleva a convertirse en pequeños reyezuelos, amos absolutos de la verdad y considerándose el paladín electoral les impide ver y analizar todo el escenario.

Han transcurrido unos cuantos de años desde que por primera vez se escribió sobre el Ego y su impacto en la conducta humana. Eminentes investigadores han formulado sus teorías al respecto y todos coinciden que cuando una persona tan solo tiene la percepción de que va a tener PODER ya cambia su forma de ser hasta con sus amigos y familiares.

Después del 21 de Noviembre es necesario propiciar el reencuentro como sociedad, dejar a un lado el ego y comenzar la reconstrucción nacional.
